Nasarawa Assembly Loss A hardworking Colleague As Speaker Balarabe, Members Mourn And Eulogize Him.

“Member Representing Nasarawa Central at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Hon Suleiman Adamu is dead”.

Hon Mohammed Odege Okpoku member representing Udege Loko at the state Assembly who announced his dead said Hon Suleiman died in the late hours of Thursday after a brief illness at Federal Medical Centre Keffi and left behind to mourn him one wife and five children.

Hon Okpoku revealed that Adamu’s burial will take place Friday 1st may, 2020 in Nasarawa LGA by Nine (9) o’clock in the morning.

“Very sad news to announced the death of Hon Suleiman,burial will be tomorrow morning”

Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi has described as colossal and big blow the demise of Hon Suleiman Adamu Ara member representing Nasarawa Central at the state Assembly.

“Inna lillahi wainna illaihi rajiun. woke up this morning to be confronted with the sad news on the dead of a colleague,friend and a brother.This is devastating”.

“Allah gives life and take it at His own appointed time,we all are walking in the part of destiny,what can we say than to pray for him, Allahu Akbar,too hard to believe,may Allah the Almighty forgive his shortcomings and bless his soul”

Speaker Balarabe enjoined the family,friends,members and staff of the state Assembly as well as his constituent and the state at large to see his dead as an act of God and continue to pray for him.

“It is very shocking,an painful,a colossal loss,we the entire members of the state Assembly have loss a friend,we have indeed loss a colleague and a democrat,the entire state is mourning,may he rest in peace,(Amen).”

The house leader Hon Umar Tanko Tunga and other members who expressed great shock over his demise eulogized his good virtues praying God to forgive his sins and reward his good deeds as well as console the family.

Prophet Gideon Isah, Kogi Pastor Who Accurately Predicted Obaseki’s Victory

The founder and Senior Pastor of House of Mercy and Deliverance Ministry Lokoja, Kogi state, Prophet Gideon Isah predicted Obaseki victory amidst political tsunami that rocked the state in the recent Gubernatorial election that was held on the 19th of september.

The senior Pastor who is renowned for his accurate prophecies, miracles in the state and beyond was the first prophet to accurately predicted the outcome of Edo governorship election shortly after Obaseki resigned his member from the ruling party, after he was screened by the APC Gubernatorial screening committee.

The prediction came when Gov. Godwin Obaseki is yet to announce his political platform he would be aspiring his ambition under.

Lagos Crash Helicopter, AIB Releases Preliminary Report

A preliminary report on a helicopter crash that occurred at the Opebi area of Lagos State on August 28, 2020, has been released.

The report was made public on Monday (today) by the Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB).

It would be recalled that the accident had involved a Bell 206B III Helicopter with nationality and registration marks 5N-BQW operated by Quorum Aviation Limited.

Specifically, the report revealed that the helicopter had a valid Certificate of Airworthiness as the pilot’s last medical examination was valid till 6th August, 2020.

The report further pointed out that there was no evidence to show that an application for the exemption provided by the All Operators’ Letter AOL DG020/20 had been submitted to the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority.

The report also revealed that the chopper had no capability to jettison fuel.

FCTA: Dr. Aliyu Inaugurates Committees On Sales, Distributions Of Agro-chemical Inputs, Charges Them To Work Diligently.

FCT Minister of State, Hon. Dr. Ramatu Tijani Aliyu.

In fulfillment of the Administration’s desire to ensure governance serves the people and to address food security, the FCT Administration has inaugurated two committees on the distribution of grains and committee on the sales of fertilisers and other agro-chemical inputs among others.

While inaugurating the 13-man committees in Abuja, the FCT  Minister of State, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, said the events are in fulfilment of the administration’s desire to ensure that governance serves the people.

A press statement signed by SA Media, Austine Elemue Said the Minister was ably represented by the Senior Special Assistant on Administration and Strategy, Prof. Muhammad Usman, who stated the terms of reference of the committees to includes: “to determine available stock and work out modalities for the sales, and to arrange for the flag-off and subsequent sales of the fertilisers, pesticides and agro-chemicals”.

The Minister equally charged the committee members to work diligently to ensure that the exercise meet its objective, warning that the committees ensure that “grains are released from warehouses, and made available to the residents of the territory in a manner that is free, in a manner that is fair and in a manner that is transparent”.

“I have on behalf of the entire FCT Administration led by Malam Muhammad Musa Bello, the singular honour and privilege to welcome those of you from the Area Councils to this event. This morning activities and events are in fulfillment of the administration’s desire to ensure that governance serves the people and that in the true spirit of democracy, governance should be people’s oriented.

“As you are aware, it is an annual ritual practice, that the administration buys off excess harvest from our farmers, therefore, giving them value for their efforts and labour at the end of the season.

And before the new harvest, when prices naturally on the increase because of reduce supply in the market, the administration releases the buffer stocks to ensure that prices are regulated if not drastically lower, for the benefit of the residents of the territory.

“This morning, in the wisdom of the administration, individuals have been carefully selected to be saddled with the responsibilities of ensuring that the exercise meet its objective. That grains are released from warehouses, and made available to the residents of the territory in a manner that is free, in a manner that is fair and in a manner that is transparent”.

The minister also said that the administration would be counting on the wisdom, and the ability of the committee members to diligently discharge those responsibilities.

Speaking on behalf of the committees, both chairmen of the two committees, Mr. Abdul Agbade, who chairs committee on grains distribution, and Mr. Abubakar Ibrahim, who chairs committee on fertilisers and other agro-chemicals respectively pledged their willingness to deliver on their mandates.

“I want to use this opportunity to thank the Honourable Minister of State FCT for the confidence reposed in us and will not toy with it. We will try as much as possible to discharge our responsibilities with the fear of God and in accordance with our terms of reference.

“Residents of the FCT need to be assisted in this trying times. We are just coming out of COVID-19 pandemic and everybody knows the crisis we are facing in food security. The prices of food stuffs are going up in the market and the people need to be assisted. We will do our best to ensure that these grains are sold to the people in need,” he assured.
