The Chief Judge Of Kogi State, Justice Nasiru Ajana Is Dead

Chief Judge of Kogi state, Justice Nasiru Ajana is dead after battling a protracted illness at the Specialist Hospital Gwagwalada.

A statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and Communication, Kingsley Fanwo on Sunday, announced the passing on of the legal luminary which it said is a massive blow to the Government and people of the state .

The Commissioner described the late Chief Judge as a very brilliant justice administrator throughout his career as a Judge and his tenure as the Chief Judge of Kogi State.

He said Justice Ajana will be sorely missed for his tenacity of purpose and outstanding commitment to the sanctity of the temple of justice adding that he was a collosus in the noble profession of law.

According to Fanwo, the State Government will work with the family of the late Chief Justice to give him a befitting burial, praying to God to forgive all his shortcomings and grant him eternal life.

Though the state government insists that Kogi is Covid19 free, the death of Justice Ajana has brought to three the number of top functionaries that died within a fortnight.
