Kogi Deputy Gov. Onoja Fulfill Promised Made To Indigenous Local Egbira Artist, Musampa

Kogi Deputy Governor, Chief Onoja, His boss and Governor Yahaya Bello

The Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Mr. David Edward Onoja has rewarded a famous indigenous Igbira Musician known as Umar Musa (Musampa) who sang ‘APC KOGI SAI YAHAYA BELLO’ a campaign jingle mostly used during the electioneering period.

The Deputy Governor doled out sum of N250,000 to the musician through the Director General of GYB-CEDO campaign organization in Lokoja Local Government, Hon. Jimoh Fancy.

Presenting the cash on behalf of the Deputy Governor, the campaign DG said the reward was in appreciation of the musician’s good work.

He said the amount was in fulfillment of the promise made to the artist, adding that his talent has, and will continue to earn him patronage from the government.

Fancy enjoined youths in the state to be creative, assuring that the government of Governor Yahaya Bello will continue to encourage local content.

Responding, the artist and recipient Musampa, appreciated the Deputy Governor kind gesture for redeeming his pledge and promised to be loyal to the government of the day.

According to him, he has since been receiving patronage from officials of the New Direction Government, and promised to continue using his talent to promote peace, unity and progress of the state.

He pray God to continue to bless, grant him sound health, long life and prosperity so that he will achieve all he had plan for overall benefits of his people and humanity in general. He said.

What many would have seen as impossible turn a reality at a very good time when it is most cherished.

Nigerian topnotch singer Davido reportedly screamed in excitement after his first baby mama, Sophia Momodu sent him money in the ongoing fundraising Scheme.

Though, the singer probably didn’t expect it but he was quite appreciative of it… Davido, as he has done for close to 24 hours now, took to his Instagram page to give an update on who amongst his “true friends” sent him the N1m he requested for hours ago.

In his latest update, the singer was quite surprised to have received an alert from his first ever baby mama, Sophia Momodu and whilr acknowledging her gift, support and solidarity he screamed out her name in block letters before thanking her for the kind gesture.

According to the singer,

“Haaaaaaa MAMA IMADE @thesophiamomodu THANK U!! Received. ”

Global Times Nigeria report that its all started off as a joke but has turned out to be a multimillion Naira making scheme for Davido as so far, the singer has amassed a whopping N140m since his last update as at the time of filing this report.

The revered King of Toto Kingdom, Onah Of Toto, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Muhammad Umar Azaki, Friday played host to the notable Egbira Artists at his palace, Rafin Kunama, along Abaji/Nasarawa road, Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

Leader of the delegation, Ibrahim Ibrahim Mudely said they were in the palace to formally notify the monarch of their presence in Toto and as well pay homage as a father of all.

According Mudely, their visit to Toto was to equally present Queen Halimat A. Okpanaki (Ongaziya Oweyi) The Miss Culture and face of Egbura Nigeria to the King for his fatherly blessings.

He said while in the palace to pay homage as tradition demand they deem it fit to present fruits for opening of fasting to the King.

Responding, the Onah of Toto, Alhaji Muhammad Umar Azaki appreciated the Egbira artists for their open show of love and Commitment towards projecting the good image of the Egbira nation, urging them not to relent in the direction that their reward will soon trace them handsomely.

The second class ruler, expressed optimism that the Face of Egbira will live long to achieve more for the Egbira nation, however, said Producing a good Queen in Egbira kingdom demand total commitment and sincerity of purpose, he said their talents now give direction to the Egbira youths and urged them not to deviate from such laudable Legacies.
