As the muslims faithful all over the world particularly Nigeria set for the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir, Senior Special Assistant on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs to Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, Hon. Chief Barr. Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku, on Thursday enjoined all Nigerians to take advantage of the celebration to supplicate for enhanced peace, security and progress of the State and country at large.
Barr. Tanko, who was the immediate past Administrator of Kogi LGA, emphasized the significance of Eid-el-Kabir in strengthening the bond that binds the nation together, also called on Nigerians to embrace the virtues of love, charity and sacrifice as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammed, (S. A. W).
Barr. Tanko, in his Sallah Message, Congratulated with Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello, all Muslim faithful and wished them the guidance and blessings of Allah.
He maintained that “the ultimate goal remains our collective ability to live in peace and harmony in a secure environment, to cherish one another irrespective of religious, ethnic and political differences, for sustainable development of the nation”.
Barr. Tanko, therefore, wishes all Nigerians a peaceful and pleasant celebration.
In another development, Barr. Muhammed Tanko Musa has also condemned the recent attacked on the people of Agbudu community in Kogi LGA where 14 persons reportedly killed and 6 other fatally injured by unknown gunmen who invaded the peaceful community.
He pray God to return peace and normalcy to the area and assured them of government commitment to fish out those bandits who carried out the attack in no distance time. He stated.

A statement by her Media Office, said that Kogi is the only state where people of different creed unite for peace, unity and development under the leadership of Governor Bello.

Eid-el-Kabir: Alhaji Shuaibu Audu Felicitates With Muslims, Calls For Sacrifice, Peace, Forgiveness And Love
A Kogi born erudite banker with almost 20 years banking experience, Executive Director with Stanbic IBTC Bank Lagos and Oxford graduate, Alhaji Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, on Friday congratulated Muslims across the globe as they mark this year Celebration.
The astute Banker is a son of a former Governor of Kogi State, late Alhaji Prince Abubakar Audu of the blessed memory made this known in a statement made available to journalists today morning by his Media Office, in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital.
According to the statement, the Banker wish to joins Muslims in Kogi State and Nigerians in celebrating this year Eid-el-Kabir which symbolize sacrifice, forgiveness, religion tolerance and love for one another.

Eid-el-Kabir: Maikaya Urge Muslims To Pray For Peace, End Of COVID-19
A former Governorship Aspirant of the APC in Nasarawa State and Chairman Maikaya Development Foundation (MDF) Alhaji. Musa Muhammed Maikaya (Ciroman Toto) has felicitated with Muslims in Nasrawa State as they celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir festival, urging them to pray for peace and an end to the pandemic COVID-19.
Maikaya, in his Sallah message in Nasarawa State, urged Nasarawa people to remain steadfast and committed to the cause of one, united and developed Nasarawa State.
He noted that despite the current COVID-19 challenges, Nasarawa State and its people had all that was required to come out better and stronger.
Maikaya said, “Truly, times are tough but we are a tough people too. Therefore, I have no doubt that we shall overcome our present pandemic – COVID-19 sooner than anticipated, if we all commit to the Health Protocol against the pandemic.”
“I also enjoin every one of us to contribute in strengthening the bond of unity and oneness that exists among us. This, I believe, will spur us to avoid negative tendencies that could derail our efforts at ensuring faster economic revival and socio-political stability, he concluded.
