Pharm. Asuku, Chief Onoja, Senators, Reps. Grace Kogi East APC Zonal Leader Wedding Ceremony

Global Times Nigeria reports that the Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Pharm. Abdulkareem Asuku Mohammed Jamiu on saturday represented the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji. Yahaya Bello at a wedding ceremony of Kogi East Zonal Chairman, Hon Ahmed Attah and his heartthrob love Nadia Ahmed in Ankpa LGA of the State.

According to the report, the Governor’s Chief Of Staff while congratulating the couple for achieving this feat great urged them to exhibit a high level of tolerance, patience which are the hallmark of a successful marriage.

A Press Statement signed and issue by his Special Assistant, Abubakar Y. Mujahid, said he expressed optimism that the groom will be just to the bride as stated in the hadith Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

He stressed the need for the couple to always put their hope in the Almighty God being the only supreme one who can give and take at his own will.

He prayed to God to grant all those who are yet to marry a good spouse whenever they are ready while advising Kogi youths to marry from any part of the state as there are well behaved and decent men and women from all parts of the state.

Pharm. Asuku, noted that marriage is build on trust, maturity, loyalty, sacrifice and respect for each other and wish them a fruitful marriage that would be a blessing to the families and the society at large.

The wedding had in attendance Kogi State Deputy Governor, His Excellency Chief Edward David Onoja, who also served as the chairman of the occasion, Kogi East Senator, Sen. Jibrin Isah Echocho, State Party Chairman, Alh. Abdullahi Bello, Deputy Speaker, Hon. Ahmed Mohammed, State and Local Government Auditor General, Hon. Yakubu Okala, Hon. Usman Ododo, Honorable Commissioners, Hon Special Advisers & other top government officials.

The former beauty queen recently encouraged her fellow ladies to do whatever pleases them to their body, even if it is plastic surgery.

The finalist of the 2020 of the most watched African reality TV show, gave this remark in a recent interview. According to her, we are past the age of stigmatization against women that do plastic surgery to enhance their body.

Egbira Music Icon, Mudely Emerges Best Traditional Artist Of The Year

Award winning Egbira Music Icon and a native of Akpasu ward in Kotokarfe, Kogi Local Government Area of the State, Sir Ibrahim Ibrahim Mudely alias Principal was recently adjudged best performing Traditional Artist of the Year award 2020 by Isonis Group based in Lokoja, Kogi State.

The award, presented during an elaborate ceremony in Lokoja, was conferred on Mr. Mudely in utmost recognition in promoting Culture and customs of Egbira race and vision having not only overseen strong support for the Egbira Entertainment industry in recent times but also guiding the industry to greater heights in a highly competitive industry.

Our Correspondent Yahaya Idris who was on ground at the most attended ceremony report that the organizers, Isonis Group said the award presented to Ibrahim Mudely was aimed specifically at recognising his effort that made meaningful impact in supporting the growth of entertainment industry that are needed to foster healthy of the Egbira traditional entertainment.

Receiving the award Mudely described the award as a very clear testament of his contributions, not just to the industry but the entire Egbira nation.

While expressing his gratitude to the organizers, Group for the award, Mudely said that the award was not taken for granted.  “I am not taking this award for granted, it is a very clear testament to my contributions, not just to the entertainment industry but the entire Egbira nation, he said.

Mudely had also received an award as the best indigenous Artist of the year 2012.

The young Egbira artist cum politician received another award in 2014 as the best Egbira musician of the year.

Mudely earlier this year indicated interest to contest for the office of councilor under the platform of APC representing Akpasu electoral ward but unfortunately was not given the ticket of the party.

He is undergraduate and presently a holder of National Diploma with Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja.
