…..Ojezua Bellyaches, As Col. David Imuse Takes Over.

One of the supporters of Governor Godwin Obaseki in the Edo state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Anselm Ojezua says the National Chairman of the APC and Executive Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni and members of his Caretaker and Extra Ordinary Congress Committee have failed in delivering on their mandate.

The known ally and protégé of the PDP Governor tongue-lashed the national leadership of the APC while accusing them of “negligence”. He said, “They are one year behind in trying to resolve the issues in the party, as far as I am concerned”.

While addressing journalists in Benin City on the dissolution of the party structures across the country, Ojezua said the Yobe state governor and his committee got six months to achieve some set goals in rebuilding the party but failed.

He’s however not optimistic they would achieve anything tangible with the extra six months extension of their assignment.

According to a frazzled Ojezua, “They were given 6 months to carry out an assignment, what have they achieved in 6 months”, he queried. Continuing, he said, “Their achievements in the first 6 months will give me the impression that they will do more in 6 months”.

A pessimist Ojezua says there’s no future for the APC. While expressing fears for the future of the party, the disgruntled suspended state chairman said; “the future looks very bleak as a result of negligence because in Edo for instance, untold damage has been done to this party in this state”.

Ojezua’s dissatisfaction is sequel to an alleged “trashed” letter he sent to the national leadership of the party, it was learnt. While corroborating rumours that his letter was trashed, he said, “we wrote to the national caretaker committee, they did not even acknowledge receipt of that letter how much more to address the issues that were raised and that leaves to much to be desired”.

He may have been contemplating and halting between some choices – to either remain in the APC or join his ally, Governor Godwin Obaseki who decamped to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the eve of the September 19 governorship election in Edo state. In his words, “Politics is always about choices”, he said.

Shedding more light on the possibility of defection to the PDP, Ojezua said, “In Edo state, we would meet very shortly and we will take a position because like I told you, politics is about choices and the choices belong to the individuals that make up the membership of any political party”.

Meanwhile, bellyaching Ojezua was allegedly sighted in marathon meetings in Edo State Government House, when the Governor Mai Mala Buni-led national caretaker committee inaugurated Col. David Imuse (rtd) as the Edo state caretaker committee Chairman.

The swearing in of the caretaker committee members held at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja – it was greeted with renewed hopes for the party, it was gathered. According to Col. David Imuse, “this marks the beginning of a new chapter in our great party”.

Col. Imuse who pledged his loyalty to the leadership of the party said, “I want to on behalf of myself and members of the APC family in Edo state congratulate the National Chairman of our party and the Executive Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni and members of his Caretaker and Extra Ordinary Congress Committee, on the success achieved so far in the arduous task of rebuilding and repositioning our ruling party.

“These achievements are not without the support and leadership of our visionary President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR whose sincerity of purpose, principles of internal democracy as well as unblemished integrity has remained untainted”, Imuse said.

Prophet Onilede Victor Oladele is a renowned preacher in Ejiba, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State. A fairy prophet whom God had used to anchor deliverance services to all manners of situations.

In this exclusive interview, he bears his mind on the Album recently released by him titled; ” Padlock In The House Of God”.

Excerpts..

Question

How do you venture into Yoruba traditional music style, known as “Ewi”?

Answer

It is only God that understand the phenomenon because I cannot give a vivid answer to this. My brother traveled to Ibadan in Oyo State when we were still in Primary School and bought a Yoruba traditional music (Ewi) done by Olarewaju Adepoju. When I heard the music, I became entrapped by the melody and the style adopted by the singer. It is poetic in nature and rich in style. It was then I begged God to grant me such voice and privilege so that I will be able to use it to praise Him and preach the gospel to the whole world. Since then God has granted me the inspiration. From the year 1978, I had been into Yoruba traditional music called (Ewi).

Question

Can you tell us briefly about your background?

Answer

When I begged God for the gift to be able to sing, God himself granted me the privilege to sing. It has been a mode of worship that has inspired a lot of people in my community which truly loves music. I am from Ejiba, in Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State. I lived in number 26, Ilo Compound, Ejiba. I was born on the 27th April 1962. I attended both Primary School and Secondary School in my community.

Question

Where did you draw your inspiration from?

Answer

From the days of my youth, God has been with me, he has been speaking to me about my future and what I will become in life. Apart from this Yoruba traditional music called “Ewi”, God has made me his Prophet. I trusted Him for the authority he gave me over evil spirits. So, I was inspired to support my call as a prophet with the musical dimension to compliment the preaching of the gospel.

Question

Who is your role model in the Musical World?

Answer

Just as I had told you before, the person I can refer to as my role model is Olarewaju Adepoju whose voice I heard years back. It was the voice that I heard that inspired me into musical world. I begged God for such grace. A grace to sing to Him, to praise Him and to inculcate morals to the world. It is more of a spiritual exercise. It has no worldly affiliates at all. I can still recall the music Olarewaju did that time, it was awesome and impactful, still meaningful up till now.

Question

What moral do you think your music would inculcate in the people?

Answer

The moral embedded in my music are numerous but the most inspiring is the fact that God has given every single individual a post of responsibility which must be properly guided. Sadly enough, there is a question attached to that. How effectively an individual used the post of responsibility that God Almighty bestowed on him. As a preacher, as a teacher, as an apprentice , as a trader and worker. Individual must be careful not to misuse the privilege and the opportunity given to him/her by God.

All post of responsibilities are vital to human race and development. None is bigger and none is smaller, it is a gift from God and it must be treated as such. You can be a doctor, farmer, entrepreneur and so on. We must be careful about our attitude towards our part of responsibility in order not to lead others astray.

Question
How many Tracks are in the Album?

Answer
Only two.

Question
What are they all about?

Cuts in…

Answer

The first is titled THE PADLOCK in the house of God with equivalent translation in Yoruba as ‘Ogadagodo ni Ile Oluwa’. Those who listen to the music will notice that the song is long.

READ:  Easter: Nasarawa Speaker Felicitates with Christians, Calls for Unity, Prayers.

In a nut shell, the song centered on the so called Children of God who do not really place premium on Spiritual issues. Such only utilize the name of God for earthly and ephemeral purposes. Some ‘men of God’ have forgotten that God has power far above their understanding.

Far above how they can even praise Him. His power is enormous and incomprehensible. Today churches and houses of God are under lock and keys because of fear. If God has the power to guide and protect, why must His house be under lock and keys? Preachers now hire hunters and vigilantee to guide the premises of God. If God Almighty cannot protect His Sanctuary, then nobody can. I use a king (Belshazzar) in the Bible as an example, when the King used the vesles taken from the temple to drink wine with prostitutes, he was striken by God Himself. In another situation, An Israeli (Achan) stole some of the precious valuables in the house of God which led Isreal loosing war against their enemy (Ai) which are relatively fewer in numbers than them. God hates all manners of evils. Some wealth are proceeds of cheating of fellow humans being. Reckless cheating of fellow human being and the church would go to such people because of the money they have. Even if the rich man is not a member of the church. Elders and stakeholders would love to court his attention to get instruments and other facilities. When God sees such situation, He is always angry, He is not interested in the worship and praises because it is a proceeds of crime. If such valuables are stolen, even if you pray till tomorrow. God will never intervene.

Auestion
Who do you dedicate the Album to?

Answer

I dedicated it to those who had forgotten their role, particularly the men of God who people always looked up to as a source of hope and inspiration. Every individual have the right to beg God for whatever he/she wants. At certain stage, God would need to hear the voice of his Prophet to answer certain prayers. However it is sad, airtimes some of the so called ‘Men of God’ cannot even access anything from God and they will be laying hands on people, commanding blessings from God.
Therefore individual should always strictly abide by his post of responsibilities given to him by God.

A farmer at times does not adhere to their spiritual role and responsibilities. Some farmers are selling fake farm products to the market. Some farmers used spiritual means to plant. His families would never eat out of the farm produce. When such is sold to the people, people got sick after consuming such food, you may go hungry immediately because it is a product from the pit of hell. Such people do not rely on God for His blessings on the work of their hands.

They moved outside their roles for frivolities, greed and wickedness. God has interest in individuals sense of responsibility and would judge accordingly.

Question
Is there a date set aside for the lunch of the album?

Answer
Yes the first week of November twenty twenty one would be the time for the lunching.

Question

This work no doubt must have been a combinations of efforts of people around you, are there people you want to show appreciation to?
