…… As Former Lawmaker, Administrator Supporters Dump PDP For APC.

Speaker Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi has said that Nasarawa State and Toto LGA in particular remain the home of APC and a party to beat in 2023 general election.

The Speaker who was Speaking at an extra ordinary APC stakeholders meeting held in Toto LGA took time to explain extensively to his people the developmental efforts of Governor Abdullahi Sule in the state and Toto LGA in particular calling on his people to give the visionary governor all the needed support to succeed.

The Speaker informed the gathering that brought together major stakeholders across the Twelve (12) electoral wards in Toto LG the passion, concern and love Governor Abdullahi Sule have for the people of the area and the need for all irrespective of political and other sentiments to support the Governor in all ramifications.

He commended the Governor’s security effort, political appointments agricultural investment among others in the area which the people have benefited tremendously.

In their speeches, member representing Toto Gadabuke at the state assembly, Hon Usman Labaran Shafa and the state commissioner for health pharmacist Ahmed Baba Yahaya gave Governor Abdullahi Sule part on the back for his transformational drive across the state and Toto LG in particular assuring him of the support of their people for the success of the administration

They called on their people to continued to sustain the peace in the area, be security conscious and fully support the government to succeed and for more democratic dividends.

The gathering were also informed that former member representing Toto/Gadabuke at the state assembly Hon Madaki Ada-Goje and Former Administrator of Gadabuke Development Area Benjamin Musa Belodu as well as their supporters have left PDP and joined APC just as Madaki Ada-Goje in his speech thanked the organizers of the meeting which he described as all important and first of its kind and called for unity among the people and more support for the government of the day.

The meeting which had in attendance FCT APC Chairman Alh Abdul-Malik, Toto LGA Chairman Prince Nuhu Dauda, Alhaji Yahaya Ibrahim Osada, Barrister Labaran Magaji and Hon Yusuf Omaki among others discussed primarily unity of the people, support for Governor Abdullahi Sule and development of the area among other issues.

Ahead of 2023 elections in the country political class are now into alignment and realignment on how to either continue or wrestle power from ruling party.  gathered that former Adamawa state Governor, Bala James Ngilari, said the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has no future in Nigeria because it is a dying party.

Ngilari said this at the state All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders meeting on Saturday in Yola.

The former governor who defected to APC in 2020, was the PDP’s Adamawa North Senatorial Candidate at the 2019 general election.

”One of the reasons why I dumped PDP for APC is that PDP is a dying party. In fact, PDP is dead and it will be buried in 2023.

”Secondly, I don’t see PDP as an alternative for the future of Nigeria, because the contradictions in the party will make its members go to the graveyard and we will help them bury themselves.

”And the reason why I identified myself with APC is because of its laudable objectives that will take us to the promised land and give hope to our future generations,” Ngilari said.

He said that any nationalist who wanted the country to move to the next level should join APC as it has no alternative at present.

He said that there was hope for Nigeria and its citizens under the APC led Federal Government, urging progressive politicians across the country to rally round the party.

” I wish those who chose to remain in PDP well, ” Ngilari said.

He said that the APC currently has 90 percent followership in Adamawa, assuring that the party would take over the state in 2023.

“Adamawa has abundant natural resources if properly harnessed, the resources would boost the economy of the state and the country at large,” he said.

Uganda Election: Bobi Wine Says He won’t Accept Compromise Results, Citing Irregularities

Uganda’s opposition frontrunner in this week’s presidential election said on Friday he has rejected early preliminary results released by the electoral commission.

“We are winning,” Bobi Wine told a news conference at his home in the capital in which he alleged fraud and violence in Thursday’s polls but did not provide evidence.


His claims have not been independently verified by VAM News.

According to our sources said that the United States and the European Union, which have previously deployed observation missions for Ugandan elections, did not deploy teams this time, 2021.

Gov Sule’s Continuity Will Ensure Stability In Nasarawa – Says Sen. Adamu

Former governor of Nasarawa State, Senator Abdullahi Adamu (APC, Nasarawa West), has said that a second term in office for incumbent Governor of the state, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, will ensure continuity and stability in the state.

Senator Adamu stated this in a speech when he led stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), from the Western Senatorial zone, on a thank-you visit on Engineer Sule, at the Government House, on Wednesday.

The lawmaker, who led stakeholders of the ruling party from his senatorial zone, to thank the Governor for appointing one of their own, Dr. John Mamman, as the state Caretaker Chairman of the APC, pointed out that a second term for Engineer Sule would ensure the Governor continues with laudable development strides.

Highlighting on the qualities of the state APC Caretaker Committee Chairman, Senator Adamu hailed the decision of the Governor to appoint Dr. Mamman to lead the party in the state.

The lawmaker however pointed out that to whom much was given, much was expected, and as such, the Western Senatorial zone must ensure that Dr. Mamman succeeds as the Chairman of the APC.

Senator Adamu stressed therefore that the only way the zone can show support for this magnanimous gesture from the Governor, is for the zone must to ensure that every nook and cranny in the zone is delivered to the APC.

Like their previous visit to the Government House, the Nasarawa West APC stakeholders, restated their total support for the Governor, declaring further that Engineer Sule remains the only viable candidate for the zone come 2023.

Senator Adamu however called on the Governor that despite the total support from the Western zone, he should continue with his development efforts and not to go to sleep.

Responding, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, commended the leadership, unity and cohesiveness of the people of the Nasarawa West Senatorial zone, urging them to sustain the tempo, not only for hos political ambition, but for the development of the zone.

According to the Governor, his administration is always encouraged to do more not only for the zone but Nasarawa State as a whole, mostly because of the massive support from the zone, especially whenever the state government initiates something that will go to the zone.

Engineer Sule described the appointment of Dr. John Mamman as the state Caretaker Chairman of the APC as the choice of God, adding that the interim party chairman never showed any interest to occupy the office.

He described Dr. Mamman as a loyal party man, who is honest, competent and has the capacity to lead the party in the state.

Commenting on the support from the zone, Engineer Sule informed the stakeholders that, considering his experience from the organized private sector, It’s not in his character to fall asleep while working to achieve an objective.

The Governor hinted on the strategy he will use to vanquish any opposition ahead of the 2023 general election, saying that the best way to deal with the opposition is to take a position that will scare them out of the competition.

“You do that in politics by doing the best you can. If I am suppose to construct 10 roads, my plan is to construct 20.

“If there is expectations from the people for me to build 200 schools, my plan is to build 400 schools,” he stated.

Engineer Sule said this was the best way to approach the opposition is by performance, by doing things that will make it difficult for somebody to come forward as a challenger.

“This is our plan for APC. It’s not a plan within APC but for APC against others. If there is any political party that is coming to override us, our plan is to override them,” Engineer Sule said.
