“Men, Take Responsibility” – Pst. Ajinuhi

Men have been called upon to always take responsibility as expected of them at every point.

The Pastor in Charge of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Mercy District Gadumo, Lokoja Kogi State, Pst. Samuel Oluwafemi Ajinuhi, made the call at the 2021 Men’s Anniversary of the Church at the State Capital.

Pst. Ajinuhi said the call became necessary following the decadence experienced in some families today, where fathers leaves responsibility for the wife to shoulder.

The Clegyman noted that women are meant to be help meet as enshrined in the Holy Bible, stressing that neglecting one’s position as the head of a home was not part of the original plan.

“Men are leaders and God has given them that leadership responsibility

“It is expected that men are taught how to take responsibilities, if the men don’t take responsibility, there is no way the home will have a good shape”

He said religious leaders, educational institutions, elders, opinion moulders, NGO’s among others has roles to play at teaching the young men to take responsibilities as they grow to adulthood.

Addressing youg men in the Church, Pst. Ajinuhi, who is also the Chairman, Kogi State Christian Pilgrim Commission, pointed out that “marriage is responsibility, commitment, forgiveness, providing for your family,

“humility, living the life of Christ and ensuring your children are in tune with God’s will

“Its not just about feelings, it goes beyond that, so while your are nurturing feelings, be awake to responsibilities as well”

Pst. Ajinuhi also enjoined women to have good understanding with their spouse, saying there will always be storms but with understanding, they will scale through.

Religion leaders in the country have been urged to used their God given gifts and talents towards putting an end to all form of criminalities that is destroying the nation, frustrating peace, development and threatening human existence.

Nasarawa State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi Sule made the observation at an event organized by the Jama’atul Izalatul Bidh’A Wa’ikhamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS) which held in Lafia, the State capital.

The Governor who expressed worried over continued carnage in some part of the country, call on religious leaders to continue to preach unity and peaceful coexistence to their members in order for development to thrive in the society.

On his part, the Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Honourable, Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi in his speech at the event praised the significant role played by religion leaders in entrenchment of peace and unity in the society.

Speaker Balarabe who represent the good people of Umaisha/Ugya state constituency in Toto LG advocated for enhance prayers and preaching by religion leaders in the face of banditry and all other forms of criminality bedeviling the society.

This formed the basis of their speeches at the 150 million naira Appeal Fund Launching for building of State Secretariat, Guest House and Purchase of Vehicle organized by JIBWIS, Nasarawa State Chapter held in Lafia today.

Gov. Sule and Speaker Balarabe who spoke separately through their representatives, applauded the state leadership of JIBWIS and its National headquarters Jos for their relentless efforts at propagating the true teachings of Islam not only in their jurisdictions but Nigeria at large.

Gov. Sule was represented at the occasion by Barr. Imam Zanwa a Former Commissioner while Speaker Balarabe was represented by member representing Lafia North constituency, Barr. Muhammad Ibrahim Alkali.

They applauded JIBWIS for propagating Islam and preaching peace in the country and called for its sustenance especially JIBWIS various programs such as preachings, seminars conferences and workshops which they said are very impacting.

They acknowledged the organization’s commitment to the development of Islam as it has gone extra mile to established Islamic schools and college of educations in both rural and urban areas through selfless efforts.

They also commended the National leader of JIBWIS sheikh Muhammad Sani Yahaya jingir for keeping the organization moving from strength to strength while assuring of government support at all times.

” I’m overwhelmed with the activities of JIBWIS because this organization since inception has been doing a lot of sacrifices in educating Muslims men and women as well as our children with the requisite Islamic knowledge and it also helped in resolving a lots of misconceptions about Islam”

They assured of the present administration’s commitment to support any religious faith which is out in preaching unity and peace in the state.

It would be reported that the event which had in attendance Hon Muhammad Adamu Omadefu representing Keana constituency, Abdullahi Dahiru Angibi representing Lafia Central, who were part of the speaker’s entourage also donated cash for the cause of the project just as member representing Nasarawa/ Toto Federal constituency, Abdulmumin Ari also made his contribution at the occasion which was climaxed with preaching by Islamic scholars and the appeal fund launch.

Nigerians Advised to Seek for God’s Intervention Over Challenges Facing the Country

Nigerians have been advised to seek for divine intervention for an end to the numerous challenges presently bedeviling the Country.

The Senior Pastor of Foursquare Gospel Church, Okene District with the Headquarters in Bikon Estate, Ajaokuta Local Government Area of Kogi State, Reverend Samson Olofinlusi, made the call in his message to mark the first Sunday in the month of September, 2021.

Rev. Olofinlusi said the call became necessary following the reoccurring issues that has caused havoc to citizens of the Country, paralyzed the economy, disrupted the livelihood of many and placed on hold the education of many young Nigerians.

The Senior Pastor explained that the current situation calls for collective prayers irrespective of religion, tribe, tongue, class, amongst others, saying the peace of the Nation translates to individual’s peace and progress.

“If it is well with Nigeria today, it will be well with not just those in power alone but everyone of us

“Let’s not fold our arms thinking its government’s problem and not ours

“If there is peace in Nigeria, individual will benefit from it, we will return to our legitimate businesses, our youths that returned from school due to insecurity will go back to continue their studies, the economy will smile again and so on

“But these things will not just come by easily, we need to all rise and contend for them prayers

“God has promised to heal our lands but we too have a role to play, we need to humble ourselves in prayer and make our request known to God”

Rev. Samson Olofinlusi added that the people of old were also faced with challenges during their sojourn on earth, stressing that the Nation’s current situation is temporary.

“When we look at what is happening in the Nation today, its not just happening now, even in the Bible days they faced problems but they overcame them all

Christians have been called upon to create and sustain healthy spiritual relationship with God to enable them have dominion over life circumstances.

General Overseer of Zion Hills Church of All Nations (ZHCOAN) in Ajaokuta Local Government Area of Kogi State, Prophet (Dr.) Kolawole Adebisi, made the call in his Sunday sermon while speaking on a topic entitled: “Spiritual Fruitfulness That Translates To Physical Fruitfulness”

Prophet Adebisi said the spiritual aspect of man needs to be given adequate attention to as it controls the physical affairs of men.

He explained that physical fruitfulness was a product of spiritual stability, urging believers to develop their spiritual capacity through prayers, fasting, commitment to studying God’s word, singing to God, amongst others.

“Until man become fruitful spiritually, you will find it difficult to be fruitful physically because the spiritual controls the physical

“Being well spiritually automatically translates to physical wellbeing, so your spiritual life really matters a lot because your spiritual activities makes you productive in the physical realm

“God has designed your life to be extraordinary, glorious, God wants you to have a voice but you have lost them all because you are not spiritually minded and let it be made known that if you are not connected to your spiritual root, the devil will root you out

“You don’t need to do any ritual to become rich, just set your spiritual life on fire and things will fall in place for you”

The Clergyman pointed out that men ought to put God first in all affairs of life, stressing that only God has the power to bring men’s heart desires to reality.

“When it comes to kingdom prosperity, fruitfulness, you can’t get them without Christ because our father has used Him as a sacrificial lamb so He becomes the access code

“Life is all about Christ, and when you have Christ, you have everything

“God is so much concerned about the fruitfulness of His creatures; not just human alone, even other creatures of His, the animals, the trees and so on, He’s concerned about their fruitfulness and His desires is for all to be fruitful”

Prophet (Dr.) Kolawole Adebisi, while speaking further expalined that “to be fruitful means to know what is called light (God’s word) and fruitfulness is also a state of being extremely productive in all ramification as a child of God

“So, be spiritually minded and satan will be afraid of you because he has no power over your life” he said.

The General Overseer encouraged christians not allow failures of the past to overwhelm them, charging them to have their minds renewed and tackle life situations with God’s word, which he said will yield positive results rather than complaining and lamenting.

“Failure, disappointment, frustration and so on, are all products of weakened spiritual life, light up your spiritman and you will be above all life circumstances

Have a new mind set, approach life differently, react to life circumstances with the knowledge of God’s word, be positive at all times and be mindful of God because He’s mindful of you and He cares for you” Dr. Adebisi concluded.
