2023: Abia Christian youths set to organize prayer Programs for God’s intervention on calls for Ogah to join the Guber race.

Christian youths were drawn from Catholic, Anglican, Methodist, and Pentecostal churches are organizing a one-week prayer program to seek God’s intervention in building up to the coming 2023 general elections in Abia state and Nigeria at large.
The Christian youths also disclosed that it would use the fora to asks for God’s intervention to the numerous calls on the Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uche Sampson Ogah to join the gubernatorial race ahead of the coming election, describing the calls by groups for the latter to run the position of Governor of Abia state as divine.
The Convener of the prayer program, Evangelist Nnamdi Nwabuko, disclosed in a press statement made available to newsmen in Umuahia, on Wednesday, said arrangements are on top gear to commit Dr. Ogah in the hands of God and to heed to the appeals and demands of the people of Abia, teethed at addressing the myriads of challenges bedeviling the state.
The Christian youths emphasized that time is now for all children of God to rededicate and commit themselves to God as the citizens lament the state of decays in the economic and Infrastructural development, adding that the program would also afford children of God to pray fervently for the conduct of electioneering Campaign and the main general election slated quarter of early next year respectively.

The Abia youths also said that it would use the period of the prayer program to commit the activities of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for peaceful and violent free conduct of the 2023 general election in Abia and Nigeria at large for the exercise to reflect the wishes of Abia masses.
The Abia group of Christian faithful further joined thousands of Abia electorates in lending voices on several calls on the Minister of State for Mines and Development, Dr. Uche Ogah to contest for the seat of Governor of Abia State in 2023to address the yearning of the populaces.
The Christian youths further stated that the program will afford the people an opportunity to seek a peaceful transition of power after the conduct of the forthcoming general election in Abia state.
According to the release which partly read, “The prayer network provides the opportunity for the Christian community to pray for God’s intervention, to prevail on Dr. Ogah to accept the clarion and divine call of the people of the state to entrench true democracy, where dividends of democracy will be brought to every doorstep of Abia populace. The date of the program will be decided soonest after the final meeting which is expected to take place in Umuahia, Abia state”.
