Dr. Ngozi Ogah, the wife of the Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, has poured encomiums on the people of Abia State for keeping faith with her husband on the genuine desire by the populace for the enthronement of true democratic governance in the state.

Ogah maintained that the minister has the wherewithal, capacity, and competencies to lead Abians and provide the needed dividends of democracy towards accelerating the socio-economic and Infrastructural developments in every stratum of the state.

She stated this when she accompanied the minister on a visit to the state APC
secretariat in Umuahia, during the weekend, said Uche Ogah’s decision to run for the 2023 Abia gubernatorial seat election is predicated on his unwavering passion for the growth and development of the state, especially for improving the welfare of the people.

Recall that the Nigerian Minister of State, Uche Ogah, was received during the weekend, by a mammoth crowd of the party faithful was in the party’s Secretariat at Azikwe road Umuahia, to inform the Abia leadership of his intention to vie for the office of the Governor of Abia State in the 2023 general elections in the country

Continuing, Mrs. Ogah further explained that her husband had been able to enhance and reduce the increased rate of unemployment in the state as private sector business investments, through industrialization and wealth creation, which had seen many thousands of youths, men and women become self-dependent and self productive to cater for the everyday needs of their families, disclosing also that the minister equally had many indigents and non-indigent Abia citizens in scholarship scheme being powered through his charity foundation and also assured of the continued gestures tilted at ensuring the empowerment and development of the people.

She assured her that her husband will replicate most of his laudable strides in the private sector and bring those tremendous gains to bear aimed at deepening the democratic process in Abia state if given the chance to emerge as the Governor of Abia State in the upcoming general election in 2023.

According to the wife of the minister, “we’re thankful to the people of Abia state for the confidence reposed in the minister, who is committed to seeing that dividends of democracy are brought to every doorstep of the people, and we assure people of Abia state that we will not let them down, we are committed to continuing to work developing human and God”.
