The All Progressives Youth Alliance(APYA), has congratulated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his emergence as the stand flag-bearer for the ruling All Progressives Congress, ahead of the 2023 general election.
In a statement issued and signed by the National Coordinator of the Youth group who doubles as the Kogi State Former Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Prince Sani Ogu Salisu, the partisan Youth group described the former Lagos State Governor as the best candidate capable leading the party to victory in the general election.
According to him, Senator Ahmed Tinubu has over the last thirty years distinguished himself in terms of services to the nation, contribution to democracy, development of various degrees of Leaders, and immense sacrifices toward the formation of the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC).
Prince Ogu added that the stand flag-bearer are having also been to the parliament as a former Senator, coupled with his Executive experience to-term term Governor of Lagos State requires the collaboration of a like mind and the best bet for the task ahead is no other than a distinguished Senator Kashim Shettima.
The All Progressives Youth Alliance is a coalition of the Youth Leaders of the defunct Congress For Progressive Change (CPC) from the National to Ward levels and has remained a determined platform committed to the advancement of the ruling APC as well as Youth inclusion in governance.
