A sociopolitical group, Aquatic Movement for Balarabe support group from Umaisha Development Area in Toto local government council, has expressed their unflinching support and loyalty to Nasarawa State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi Sule led All Progressives Congress, APC, in the State.

The group made the observation today when they paid a courtesy call on the Executive Chairman, Hon. Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas, at his office, Toto LGC secretariat.

Leader of the group, Abubakar Umar (Andy), said the massive achievements recorded by present administration of Governor Abdullahi Sule, in areas of security, infrastructural development, leadership inclusiveness informed their decision to sensitive voters to vote APC in the upcoming elections.

Umar appreciated Nasarawa State House of Assembly Speaker, Alhaji Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi for his leadership prowess and for attracting and facilitating meaningful development to Toto LGC.

Umar recalled how Speaker Balarabe redesigned political structure of Toto LGC through introduction of zonal arrangement that will grant all the 3 districts the opportunity to fully participate in the democratic process.

The group also extend their sincere and utmost appreciation to Executive Chairman of Toto LGC, Hon. Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas for equal distribution of projects across the 3 districts of the council, with a total commitment to consolidate on already achieved gains.

On 2023 election, Umar assured that the Aquatic Movement 4 Balarabe continuity prepared and fully committed for his third term project having benefitted so much from his leadership.

Responding, The Chairman of Toto LGC, Hon. Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas said reelecting Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi is a task that must be accomplish owing to his quality representation that given Toto LGC a new name.

He said Balarabe told term agenda is Aquatic’s project, he stood his ground during my election to ensure the election is crisis free poll, Tashas said he will never forget such done him and people of Gadabuke district.

He said his administration committed to working with any genuine groups that has positive to offer, calling on such groups not to sit on the fence rather to come forward for a round table discussion in order to move the council forward.

In a statement signed and issued on Monday, November 14, 2022 by Yahaya Idris Toto, Senior Special Assistant, SSA, on Media & Communications office of the Executive said the council boss hosted the pro-democracy in presence of the Toto LGC APC chairman, Alhaji Ahmed Shuaibu, Council leader, Toto local government legislative arm, Rt. Hon. Abdul-Hameed Ayizi Mazi, Council Secretary, Malam Mohammed Wanted, and some appointees among others.
