2023: Atiku, Oborevwori, PDP candidates will sweep polls gallantly – Okowa’s EAC.

Executive Assistant on Communications to the Vice Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Dr Barr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, has predicted landslide victory ahead for the Presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Delta PDP gubernatorial candidate, Rt Hon Oborevwori Sheriff Francis Orohwedor, in the forthcoming 2023 democratic elections in Nigeria.

He gave the assurance while speaking as a guest on a political radio programme monitored live in Asaba on Monday 3rd October, saying that Nigerians and Deltans will not gamble with their security, peaceful coexistence and socioeconomic development, going forward.

Oghenesivbe, a Distinguished Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Information and Strategy Management, Fcism, said the youth agitation for Peter Obi was borne out of the monumental abysmal performance by the national government of the All Progressives Congress, APC, under President Muhammadu Buhari, in the past seven years and counting.

The renowned communication and media strategist assured his heterogenous audiences on radio that the “Obidient movement” shall soon fade away, and that Obi-Datti presidential bid shall be relegated to obscurity and political oblivion as the Presidential campaigns gathers momentum in the coming weeks, pointing out that Obi lack the visionary leadership, competence and required experience to decisively handle and provide solutions to the collapsed economy, unite Nigerians, tackle the acute insecurity ravaging the country, et al.

He noted that as governor of Anambra State, Obi empowered commercial banks by depositing huge sums of monies with financial institutions, and that while the banks were making huge profits from the deposits, Anambra citizens became poorer, truly impoverished, frustrated and left in the cold to take their destinies in their own hands.

Oghenesivbe likened Obi’s tenure as governor to a wealthy father who deliberately refused to take good care of his children, forcing them to be beggers by neither creating jobs nor wealth that would have improved their financial and social status, adding that the Labour Party presidential candidate does not have what it takes to tackle complex economic recovery issues, drive sustainable growth and development, judging from his poor performance as governor of Anambra State for eight solid years.

Okowa’s EAC further posited that Obi claiming to have two pairs of shoe and few clothes goes to no issue, because he became a controversial billionaire at a tender age in the early 80s, describing him as a tightfisted, highhanded businessman and crafty politician who is directly or indirectly playing on the intelligence of Nigerian youth through falsehood and deception via orchestrated and vague political statements.

He urged Nigeria youth to look before they leap because it shall be disastrous to handover the fragile affairs of the nation to an incompetent and deceptive politician with little or no capacity to deal with the multifaceted negative socioeconomic problems and infrastructure decay bedeviling Nigeria at the moment, occasioned by the abysmal performance of APC national government under President Muhammadu Buhari.

Oghenesivbe averred that PDP Presidential candidate and his running mate, Waziri Adamawa Atiku Abubaksr and Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, is the best combination in the Presidential race because of their enviable track records in political leadership, patriotic antecedents, detribalised nature, resounding achievements in governance and public service spanning nearly three decades and counting.

“Nigerians cannot afford to make another grave mistake by putting the fragile affairs of this nation in the hands of incompetent leaders. We are suffering today because of the abysmal performance of Buhari administration and it must never happen again in our constitutional democracy, going forward.

“Obi cannot boast of any legacy project during his eight years tenure as governor of Anambra State. As a banker and core investor in the banking sector, he deposited nearly all Anambra government monies in the banks and while the banks raked in huge profits for shareholders as a result of obi’s poor visionary leadership, the people of Anambra state wallowed in abject poverty; no jobs, no infrastructure development and no economic growth.

“The banks were the core beneficiaries of Obi’s eight years in office. His tenure is a striking example of bad governance, because he deliberately refused to pay attention to social investment, no meaningful public-private partnership to grow the state economy, no human capital and infrastructure development.

“Obi, obviously could not develop and grow key sectors of the state economy and alleviate poverty. He failed woefully as a governor and therefore not suitable to lead Nigeria as President, not in 2023, not anytime soon.

“Obi’s tenure as governor can be likened to a wealthy father who starved his children while empowering banks to make huge profits at the expense of his children’s future and wellbeing.

“The primitive wealth accumulation mentality of the Labour Party presidential candidate will not allow him to invest in the future of Nigeria youth, he is a selfish politician with profit mentality that retards socioeconomic and infrastructure development.

“Atiku-Okowa Presidential candidacy is the best and the choice of Nigerians. As we progress in the Presidential campaigns, Nigeria youth will obviously disassociate themselves from Obi and align with PDP and Atiku to rescue Nigerian from the vexed bad governance of the APC national government under president Buhari.

“Here in Delta State, the opposition parties are moribund with no political structures, which is why our pragmatic, competent and popular candidate, Rt Hon Oborevwori Sheriff Francis Orohwedor, and all other candidates of our great party shall emerge victorious at the polls in 2023.

“APC as a party has proven to be an association of men and women with no good intentions for Nigeria and Nigerians, as evident in the reckless mismanagement of the huge resources of this nation in the past seven years and counting.

“It is indeed unimaginable that a load of bread now cost as much as N1,200 as against N120 in 2015 while a United States Dollar exchanges for N180 as against N130 to a dollar in 20151 pointing to shoe that PDP is more competent than APC in managing the fortunes and socioeconomic affairs of Nigeria.

“The high inflation rate, acute poverty, poor electricity generation and distribution, escalated insecurity, poor management of the education sector, nepotism, and many more gross incompetence of APC national government under president Bihari stinks to high heavens and the only resolution is PDP and Atiku in 2023, ” Oghenesivbe said.
