Business Moguls across the country, prominent politicians, friends, political associates and well wishers of Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, on Thursday converged in Abuja to raise funds for His re-election bid.
The programme for the Engr. A A Sule/ Dr E Akabe Campaign Appeal Fundraising and Lunching in support of their re-election in 2023 took place at Blue Spring Hotel, Abuja.
A renowned business Mogul, Architect Abubakar Oseze of Shelter Development Company served as Chief Launcher in an event that had in attendance Managing Directors of Asma Groups and Flour Mills among other top businessmen across the country.
The event also had in attendance the National Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC, Sen. Abdullahi Adamu, former Governor of Nasarawa State, Sen. Umaru Tanko Al-makura among other top prominent politicians within and outside Nasarawa State.
The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Alhaji Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi in his goodwill message underscored the transformational drive of Gov. Sule across the State, saying that the project for the re-election of the Governor is paramount to the people of the State.
According to him, the people of the State would not afford to go backward developmentally as the phase for sustainable growth of the State has been set hence the need for the return ticket of the Governor.
” Engr. Abdullahi Sule has set the pace for the industrialization of the State, Nasarawa State is now a new investment ground, the people of the State are wiser, we are wiser, we will not allow anyone to take us backward” He said.
“we are not doing Governor Sule a favour, but saving the soul of Nasarawa State and putting it on the part of economic development and peace” Speaker Balarabe said.
” He Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi Sule has performed well in almost all sectors of the economy, His re-election would enable our people benefits and enjoy more dividends of democracy”
The Speaker commended the organizers of the event and re-assured the Governor that the people of the State would return him in 2023 to consolidate on the achievements he has recorded so far.
Various Speakers at the event which include Sen. Abdullahi Adamu the APC National Chairman, Sen. Tanko Al-makura, Arc. Abu Oseze among others praised the giant strides of the Governor noting that his re-election is Paramount and significant to enable him consolidate and that the State can not afford to be in opposition government hence the need to return APC.
