The good people of Dekina/ Bassa Federal Constituency come out en-masse in solidarity with the declaration of interest by Hon Chief Gowon Haruna to contest for the green chamber of the national assembly. (House of Representatives).
Chief Gowon who was overwhelmed with the turnout of party supporters and followers assured the people that, he is tested and can be trusted to represent them at the national assembly having demonstrated leadership competence and good representations at the Kogi State House of Assembly, Representing the good people of Dekina/ Biraidu Constituency from 2011 to 2015.
He went memory line to remind the people that, while at the House of Assembly, his salaries and Constituency allowances were for the people of his constituency in the area of youths and women empowerment, scholarships for the indigent students, grading of rural feeder roads for easy transportation of farm produce to the cities, provision of potable waters for the consumption of the people of his Constituency and many more, if voted into the house of representatives in the national assembly 2023 for Dekina/ Bassa Constituency election, he will do more when given the mandate of the people.
He solicited the mandate of the people of Dekina/ Bassa federal constituency for their massive support for more development of the area.

Chief Gowon Haruna popularly called (IJN) is a seasoned politician who believes in the development of himself and others, stressing that, there will support him 100% to represent them in the green chamber of the national assembly(House of Representatives) come 2023 election.
It could be recalled that, Hon. Chief Gowon Haruna is one time Kogi State house of Assembly Member, Representing, Dekina/ Biraidu Constituency, House Committee Chairman on Millennium Development Goal ( MDGs) and during his time, the good people of the area witnessed excellent representation and outstanding performances in the area of infrastructural and human capital development feet that none has surpassed.
After two years of his chairmanship of the MDGs, he was posted to be House Committee Chairman on the Local Government Service Commission, a position he held judiciously in ensuring local government staff who were denied promotion and other incentives were promptly attended to with rap attention.
