2023: Datti Ahmed replies Nigerians who belittle Labour Party’s Presidential Candidate

As the 2023 elections draw near mixed reactions over the nomination of former Anambra State Governor, Peter Gregory Obi continued to trail the Nigeria political space, and while some think that he lacks what it takes to rule this country.

Following the emergence of former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Gregory Obi as the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, he has reinvigorated the political zeal of many Nigerians and has been arguably, the most talked about politician in the Nigeria political space.

However, some Nigerians have belittled the 2023 presidential ambition of Peter Gregory Obi, with claims that the Labour Party (LP) do not have the political structure to magic etch the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 presidential election.

While featuring on Channels Television on Monday night, the 2023 vice-presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Datti Baba-Ahmed was asked to comment on some Nigerians’ argument that the Labour Party has no political structure political structure to win the 2023 presidential poll.

Though the Labour Party’s structure is not sophisticated, it is very unique because it gives ordinary politicians an avenue to make their voices heard. The Labour Party’s vice-presidential candidate further expounded that the party is cost-conscious, as it does not want to waste Nigerians’ resources on frivolities.

The Labour Party’s vice-presidential candidate boasted that the Labour Party is the only political party that base it’s structure on the people, as other political parties cause their structure on money and give top positions to powerful politicians.
