2023 election; Baiwa, Former APC National Woman Leader Appointed Deputy Director, Tinubu/Shettima, North Central.
By ABUBAKAR YUSUF: The former National Woman Leader, of All Progressives Congress APC, Hajiya Salamatu Baiwa Umar-Eluma has been appointed as the new Deputy Director, of contact and mobilisation, Tinubu-Shettima representing the North Central geopolitical zone.

Mrs Baiwa the immediate past national woman leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC was at the forefront of women’s and men’s emancipation towards the success of the party in the 2019 general elections.

A grassroot politician of national and international repute, she was a strong advocate of women’s emancipation in the area of elective and appointive positions and led a high-powered delegation to President Muhammadu Buhari on the need for more recognition for women in the area.
Hajiya Salamatu Baiwa Umar-Eluma who passed a vote of confidence on the leadership of Nigeria when voted into power, the Tinubu-Shettima combination had been active even out of office.

She was the brainchild behind the first APC women’s conference held at the International Conference Center ICC, Abuja early in the year.

With Baiwa, the North Central is already secured for APC Tinubu- Shettima presidency as the prowess the mobilise not only women, but men towards the victory of the party in 2023 is not in doubt.
