2023 FCT Senate: Abaji APC stakeholders drums support for Dobi.
The stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abaji area council of the FCT have drummed their support for the part’ys senatorial candidate in 2023 general election in FCT, Hon Zakari Angulu Dobi.
Speaking when the part’ys senatorial candidate met with the stakeholders in Abaji on Sunday, a chieftain of the APC, Alhaji Mohammed Inuwa Ashafa, said he and his supporters are fully ready to ensure the victory of the party’s candidate during the FCT senatorial election in the area.
He said time has come to vote for Dobi, saying the part’ys senatorial candidate has the required qualities to represent the good people of the FCT at the national assembly in 2023 election.
He said the performance of the part’ys senatorial candidate when he was house of representatives member called for support of the good people of Abaji and entire FCT to support him in 2023 election.
Also speaking, a former chairmanship aspirant during the February 12, 2022 council election in the area, Alhaji Mohammed Angulu Bello, assured the APC senatorial candidate of the support of his followers in ensuring that Dobi emerge victorious during the 2023 election.
He said the ruling APC under the immediate past chairman of the council, Alhaji Abdulrahman Ajiya and the part’ys candidate, Alhaji Mohammed Angulu Loko, are fully on ground to ensure the victory of the party at the polls.
On his part, the APC senatorial candidate in FCT, Alhaji Zakari Angulu Dobi, said he decided to meet with the part’ys stakeholders in the area in order to see how the party will emerge victorious during the 2023 general election in the FCT.
He said the party stakeholders in Abaji as the backbone of the APC, saying the stakeholders has always be committing their strength and resources to keep party strong over the years.
“Even though, there are some little grievances as regard to the last area council election, which by God grace I have heard from the stakeholders. And we shall forward the matter before the APC leaders both at state and national level to see how the matte will be resolved,” he said.
