Senator Philip Aduda representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has reassured the people of the territory that he will continue to do more in ensuring that their rights and privileges are protected through legislation at the senate of the national assembly.

Senator Aduda spoke while presenting 265 brand new motorcycles to some officials and members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) across the 62 political wards at the state party’s secretariat in Abuja, on Wednesday.

Senator Philip Tanimu Aduda, on Wednesday, submitted his completed nomination form in fulfillment of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)’s guideline in his quest to return to the red chambers to continue the good work to the people of the FCT.

He said his desire is to always ensure that the good people of the FCT are duly represented through ensuring their rights and privileges are given topmost priority at the national assembly and providing the basic amenities that will impact on their well-being.

Senator Aduda, who is running for the fourth (4th) term to represent the FCT at the national assembly, also used the occasion to submit his nomination to the FCT state PDP chairman, Sunday Zaka, which had all the state party officials in attendance.

The PDP state chairman, while also appreciating Senator Aduda on behalf of the beneficiaries, said the donation of the motorcycle would go along way to boost the morale of the party members and supporters to work for the party’s victory in 2023 election.

Zaka, therefore, charged Senator Aduda, to continue with his tremendous good work especially his ongoing constituency projects, which he said has been impacting positively on the lives of the good people of FCT.

The party officials while appreciating Senator Aduda’s gesture, at the occasion endorsed him as the party’s sole candidate in 2023 FCT senate election.

On their part, the PDP zonal executives and the FCT PDP state officials also appreciated Senator Aduda for his continuous commitment to the party, owing to his role at the just concluded area council elections.

Our correspondent report that, the event witnessed the presentation of the PDP zonal executives and the entire leadership of the FCT PDP state officials who were at the venue to receive Senator Aduda led by the FCT PDP state chairman Sunday Zaka.
