2023: God’s willing, Atiku is the next incoming president – Senator Aduda

The senate minority leader, Senator Phillip Aduda representing the FCT, said the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, will by the special grace of God be next president of Nigeria during the 2023 general election.

Aduwa, who spoke at the party’s campaign rally in Abuja, on Saturday, said since the party controlled some area councils including the two houses of the representatives alongisde him as senator representing the FCT, the party’s presidential candidate will win the elections with landslide.

“The two house of representatives in FCT are PDP. And my humble self here is PDP,. And so by the special grace of God we will the PDP in the FCT. And we are assure that by the special grace of God. God almighty helping us, you are the new incoming president of the federal republic of Nigeria, ” he said.

He added” I have said it before and I will say it again. Once primaries are over it is time for work. And so we must all work to ensure we deliver our party in the coming election, ” he added.

He informed told Atiku and his campaign team that, his colleagues from their various constituencies including party leaders were always on ground supporting him, adding that with the large turnout of supporters, PDP will emerge victorious in the FCT.

“And that is why I am here with leadership of the both chambers. Your excellency, we are indeed proud of you. And only thing we can say, may God almighty guide us to success so that we can takeover Nigeria for betterment and services of Nigerians,” he said.

Also speaking, the vice presidential candidate, Ifeanyi Okowa, said he was quite aware that the PDP has never lost any election in the FCT, saying what the leaders of the party in the territory, Senator Phillip Aduda, have demonstrated that they ready to deliver the party in the February, 25, 2023 elections.

“We are on a rescue mission to recover Nigeria from where the APC have left it. And I know our youth cannot continue to stay hungry. Our mothers cannot continue to cry because of poverty. And we have all decided as a country, particularly the youth of this country that we need to recover Nigeria to rescue our people from where APC has left us, ” he said.

He said he was very excited that the FCT youths has come out in their large numbers to show that they ready to ensure the part take over in 2023,” he said.

He, however, said that the journey the party has started as a team, both youth and women of the country as well as elders will collectively steer the sheep of governance in a such a way that it will be well with each and everyone of them.

” The poverty that we see today, in the next four years starting from May, 29, 2023, it will no longer be so because Atiku is ready to work with all Nigerians to ensure we bring back our economy into the days that the economy was booming. We cannot continue to stay hungry, our people are tired of APC government, “he said.

He said the only person with the requisite experience to steer the leadership of the country at the moment is Atiku Abubakar, saying the country required a man with great experience that is ready from beginning to help to rebuild Nigeria.

” And we know the PDP had given us the best. It is now for us to go house to house from market to market from community to community to let the people know that we have a solution to problems and challenges in Nigeria. We religh on our youths, go out there and campaign from house to house. We rely on our women please go out there to campaign from house to house, ” he added.
