Hon Abdullahi Dahiru Angibi, ( APC), Member Representing Lafia Central Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has today declared officially to re-contest for the State Assembly seat of Lafia Central Constituency.
Hon Angibi, the Chairman, House Committee on Public Account made his declaration when he visited APC executive members of Zanwa, Makama, Gayam and Ciroma electoral wards of his constituency today in Lafia.
He said that the visit was to congratulate and identify with the wards party executive members on their victory at the party congress.
” I want to thank God and thank you for voting and supporting me all these while.
” I am here to congratulate you for your election as executive members of our great party, APC in our constituency.
” I am happy with your election as our party executive members and I want to assure you of my support at all times.
” You are aware of what I have done and still doing in order to impact on your lives and the lives of others positively.
” I have provided Infrastructure, distribute free JAMB forms to students of my constituency as the importance of education to human and societal development could not be overemphsized.
” I have also assisted a lot of people with Job opportunities, medical bills, school fees among others.
” All of these gesture was to change the lives of the people of my constituency and others postively,” he said
Angibi has also assured the people of his constituency of good representation at the state legislature at all times.
He has pledged to continue to provide more water and other infrastructure in order to improve on the standard of living of the people of the constituency.
The assemblyman has called on them to continue to unite and embrace team work for the progress of the party beyond 2023.
The lawmaker has also advised against tribal and religion politics in the interest of peace and development to thrive.
The lawmaker called for more support and prayers to enable him succeed at the state legislature.
He has commended Gov. Abdullahi Sule for his security efforts and other developmental strides across the state and called for its sustenance.
He further called on the people of his constituency and the State at large to support Gov. Abdullahi Sule to succeed beyond 2023.
In their votes of thanks, Dauda Umar Zanwa- Chairman APC Zanwa ward, Musa Adamu Bisola, APC Chairman Wakama, Ibrahim Iliyasu, APC Chairman, Gayam ward and Husseini Liman, Deputy Chairman, Ciroma ward, all appreciated Hon Angibi for the visit and wished him well in his political struggle.
It would be reported that some of the stakeholders, who spoke during the visit has urged the delegates to vote for Hon Angibi for second term considering his good representation and purposeful leadership at the House.
They have said that the constituency would benefit more if they returned Hon Angibi for the second term come 2023.
The have also urged the people to support Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s adminisitration to succeed beyond 2023.
It would be reported that those in Hon Angibi’s entourage included Alhaji Saleh Asiri, APC Chieftain, Hon Adamu Sule Liman, former member representing Lafia Central Constituency, Hon Salihu Angulu, former lawmaker at the then Plateau State House of Assembly among others.
