Haven heed to the numerous calls on him to contest the Nasarawa/Toto House of Representatives seat in the coming elections, Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Aibro says he has developed a Transformational Template that will serve as a guide to enable him bring unprecedented representation to the people of the Constituency.
Hon. Aibro in an exclusive interview with Newsmen in Abuja, said the need for qualitative Representation has become glaring as the people of the Constituency have not been enjoying the privileges derivable from past and present representatives.
He explained that his Not Giving Up Spirit was birthed out of his desire and passion to bring the required dividends of democracy to his people, pointing out that the Constituency will experience a total turn around if chosen to represent them.
“I started the contest for the House of Representatives since 2016 and I have been so committed to a vision of providing good Representation to the dear people of Nasarawa/Toto Federal Constituency
“After certain political drama, I went back to doing what I know how to do best and I kept contact with my people always even though I was out there seeking for other means of livelihood because we can’t all be mounting pressure on the government
“I needed to come home again following numerous calls from my people, they feel I have all it takes to bring the needed result
“You need a strong pedigree, I am blessed with such CV as I have been working with the UN for the past 22 years
“Representation is all about the people so I will have no opinion of my own but that of the people
“I intend to be having regular stakeholders meeting with the people as part of feedback mechanism, I also intend to operate in a manner that I am able incorporate people to companies and other organizations where we pave opportunities so that the people can be gainfully employed
“I want to represent a very strong voice such that when distribution of resources is being done especially during budgeting processes, I will ensure that my Constituency is given a great consideration” he said.
The highly experienced Politician said he will bring his wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of his duties, calling on the people to shun money bagged politician who has no future plan for the people.
Hon. Aibro added that Toto/Nasarawa Federal Constituency has been receiving below expectations, stressing that he will ensure the people receive what is rightfully theirs when elected to serve.
“In Nigeria and other parts of the world where democracy is practiced, we practice bargaining representation and if you don’t have a strong voice, then you won’t have a mega share of the cake
“My experience as a President of the Staff Association of my Organization for 8 years is a plus to me when it comes to serving as a voice to the voiceless
“The foremost assignment now is convincing my Party that I am the man for the job and after that, we have a chat with our people who are so eager to have us serve them
“By the grace of Almighty Allah, we will achieve our Transformational Leadership plans and our people will be better off and also know that truly, the difference is clear” he concludEd.
