2023: Kogi East ex-appointees lauds Gov Bello on legacy projects, canvases support for Tinubu, APC

As commendation continues to pours in following the inauguration of the Well Equiped Specialist Reference Hospital in Okene and commissioning of many legacy projects of GYB/CEDO administration such as the Ganaja roundabout first ever flying over bridge in the State and Muhammadu Buhari Civic Centre among other developmental projects in Kogi by President Muhammadu Buhari, the State Deputy Governor , Chief Edward David Onoja has commended Governor Yahaya Bello for putting up the project which he said will safe the lives of millions of people around the North Central and some other part of the country.

The Deputy Governor basking in the successes recorded by his boss over the years in terms of development said the hospital remains the best compares to others in many parts of Nigeria.

Onoja stated this while playing host to the delegations of New Direction Former political office holders from Kogi East who were at his residence to re-assure him of their commitment to ensure total victory for all the candidates of All Progressives Congress, APC in the Senatorial District.

He disclosed that Governor Bello remains the only the best in terms of infrastructural development, promoting peace and building lasting peace across the state.

The Deputy Governor charged the former appointees to always see themselves as part of the administration because they were the starters of the New Direction Agenda of Governor Yahaya Bello.

“Dont see yourself as an outsiders, the Governor never sees you that way because he always value your contributions to his Government in the first tenure and in his eventual victory for the second term in 2019” he stated

Earlier, the Convener of the delegations, Honourable Akoh Jacobs (FCFIA), Honourable Paul Maiwada, Former Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Hon. Barr. Haruna Former Special Adviser Legislative Matters and Honourable Ibrahim Odoma thanked the Deputy Governor for granting the Forum an audience.

While speaking the leaders told the Deputy Governor that the forum is prepared to support the All Progressives Congress, APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu and other candidates for various elective positions in the state in the forth coming Polls.

The forum how ever told the Deputy Governor that members of the forum should be giving a sense of belonging in the scheme of things in the state which the Deputy Governor promised to convey the massage onward to the Governor whom he believe will attends to their request in due course.
