2023: Kogi Labour Party Chair says Vote Buying Kills Nigeria Economy

With 9 days to the general elections in Nigeria, opinions all over the country has described vote buying as a torn on the wheel of Nigeria progress.

Commenting on the issue of vote buying, Mr. Yahaya Atabo acting Labour party Chairman Igalamela/Odolu Local government area of Nigeria in a telephone interview told our reporter that vote buying is inimical to the entire world.

Speaking further Mr Atabo said it does not reflect the will of the people, stating that his principal Mr Peter Obi Presidential flag bearer of the Labour party has been agitating Against money politics.

Mr Atabo, an advocate of free and fair election said electorates who sell their votes invite hardship into their families.

He reiterated that a free and fair election will rebuild Nigeria’s economy.
