2023: Kokori Okpe Community PDP Unit Leaders, Chairmen Confirms Okowa’s EAC as INEC Unit 13 Leader.

leaders and chairmen of the five polling Units of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Okpe community of Kokori in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, met on Sunday 23rd October to review political developments and passed a vote of confidence on the state governor and Vice Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa.
The leaders in a communique signed by DESOPADEC Commissioner representing Ethiope East, Ughelli North and Urhobo Community in Patani, Okakuro Kent Akigho Okiemute, Ethiope East PDP Secretary, Hon James Akpojisheri and Unit 13 Chairman, Okakuro Emonefe Ufuoma, said governor Okowa has performed creditably well in terms of infrastructure and socioeconomic development of the state since assumption of office in 2015 and counting.
They resolved to mobilize eligible voters for block votes in the coming elections for PDP and her candidates, Atiku-Okowa, Oborevwori-Onyeme and across board, saying that Okpe community in Kokori benefited a great deal from Okowa administration in terms of juicy political appointments, human capacity development via Yagep, Step, Rysa, Girl Child Project GEST and the ongoing construction and taring of Okpe and Agbonmiyerin Streets, facilitated by the Executive Assistant on Communications to the governor, Chief Barr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, JP.
The Units leaders and chairmen in Okpe Community also confirmed Okowa’s EAC and Leader of Sheriffied Delta Media Group, Dr Oghenesivbe as the Leader of INEC polling Unit 13 to replace Commissioner Kent Akigho Okiemute who is now the Leader of INEC Unit 12 in Okpe community, Kokori.
“Okpe community in Ethiope East LGA expresses our profound gratitude to our indefatigable leader, governor and PDP Vice Presidential candidate, Senator Dr Ifesnyi Arthur Okowa, CON, for the numerous juicy political appointments for our brothers and sisters as well as the ongoing construction of Okpe Street and other six road projects ongoing in Kokori communities.
“We reviewed the enviable performance of Okowa administration and we came to the conclusion that PDP must get the block vote of the entire five polling units in Okpe community in Ethiope East LGA in the forthcoming 2023 general elections, more particularly the Atiku-Okowa and Oborevwori-Onyeme presidential and gubernatorial tickets. To whom much is given, much is expected.
“Consequently, we passed a vote of confidence on our state and national leader, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, CON, and his administration.

“Unit 13 Chairman, Okakuro Emonefe, had been mandated to notify Ward 6 Leader and the Chairman, Rt Hon Akpodiogaga Sunny Emeyese and Hon Chief Felix Oniakuko, accordingly” the Communique added.
