Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Kogi local government of the State, and Unstoppable Youths Group in the area have pledged their unwavering support to ensure the emergence of Hon. Danladi Suleiman Aguye at the forthcoming primary.
The House of Representatives Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, representing the Kogi/Lokoja federal constituency, Hon. Danladi Suleiman Aguye has continued to get more support from the people of the Lokoja/Kogi federal constituency and arising an interactive session organized by the youths of the area.
Nguyen, a former Special Adviser on Job Creation to Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello has continued to garner more grassroots support since he joined the race to provide quality representation to the people of Lokoja/Kogi federal constituency.
The aim of the session was the unanimous adoption by the people of the Lokoja/Kogi federal constituency of an urgent motion endorsing Mr. Aguye as their sole candidate for the Lokoja/Kogi federal constituency.
The session, which was held at the popular joint of the Unstoppable group Gegu community of Kogi local government, saw the supporters including women in number discussing how to deliver their preferred choice in the forthcoming primaries and subsequent general elections.
Comr. Usman Abubakar Babohi Gegu, convener of the group says Mr. Aguye’s ambition gave birth to the idea of the interactive session and noted that he was the only candidate in the race who has deemed it fit interface with people, noting that he has all it takes to bring to bear his wealth of experience if given the mandate.
Bhabhi Gegu, while acknowledging the aspirant strides in all facets of human endeavors, assured of his readiness to fashion out policies and programs that would enable the Lokoja/Kogi federal constituency to gain more from his quality representation and a new way of offering modern leadership and governance with a hope to change the narratives for the betterment of all.
He also assured residents that if Aguye is voted into office, his administration would prioritize the welfare of women, youths, elders, and people living with a disability.
The Gegu-born young politician pointed out that people would be the key drivers of the bulk of his developmental agenda for the Lokoja/Kogi federal constituency and expressed his desire to strengthen key institutions of service through legislative lobby and oversight functions among others.
According to Babohi, the APC rep hopeful will also work closely with the State government to consolidate achievements and play his role as required of him. He expressed confidence that as soon as he comes on board, there would be a strong system to ensure people get rewarded for their worth most especially those who sacrifice for this ruling APC.
He described Dalandi Aguye as a rare philanthropist, gentleman, and political icon whose serving humanity and Almighty Allah top his priority.
The session also provides ample opportunity for questions and answers as part of efforts to express their own opinion as democracy demands.
