As contestants for the Nasarawa/Toto federal constituency race goes to the polls, the delegates of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has a duty to elect a candidate of their choice and inline with party guideline and provision of electoral act as amended.
The Member Representing Nasarawa /Toto federal constituency Hon. Abdulmumuni Ari has lost his second term ambition bid following his abysmal performance since assumption of office 3 years ago.
Incumbent Ari lost his second term bid to Hon. Muhammed Yarima Al-basheer who got 112 votes to defeat his opponent who have zero vote.

The Returning Officer of the election Ahmed Abdullahi Muhammed announced the result thus.
“I Abdullahi Ahmed Muhammed, the Returning Officer for this election hereby announced that Muhammed Yarima Albasheer got the total votes of 112 while Hon. Abdulmumuni Ari got Zero vote.
” Muhammed Yarima Albasheer is hereby declared winner of the election” He said.
Speaking in an interview shortly after he was declared winner, Muhammed Yarima Al-basheer thanked God Almighty for the success, the delegates and the people of Nasarawa and Toto LGAs for the support, confidence and Mandate promising not to let his people down.
