…Targets 500 youths and women for the scheme in his constituency.
A lawmaker in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Representing Doma North Constituency, Hon Musa Salihu Iyimoga, has launched another phase of empowerment scheme as part of effort to minimize hardship as a result harsh economy situation in the country.

The lawmaker said this time he has earmarked 500 women and youths would benefit from the second phase of his empowerment scheme in order to make them self reliance and contribute their quota to the development of the constituency and the State at large.
Iyimoga, who is the Chairman, House Committee on Youth and Sports Development stated this while launching his Second Empowerment Scheme to the women and youths of his constituency in Alagye electoral ward of the constituency.
He said that the gesture was also to improve on the standard of living of the people of his constituency.
” This is my second phase of my Empowerment Scheme to the people of my constituency, especially to the women and youths.
” 500 women and youths will benefit in this second phase of my empowerment schemes
” But today, I will start with 200 women and youths where N5000 will be distributed to each of them ” he said.
Iyimoga assured of his continuous commitment to provide more dividends of democracy to the people of the constituency, if given another mandate come 2023.
He solicited for the support of all and sundry to enable him succeed.
Also speaking, Mr Ahmadu Ibrahim Osagede, the Chairman, Zenith Labour Party, ZLP, Doma Local Government Area lauded the lawmaker for this gesture and prayed God to bless him abundantly.
The Chairman urged the people of the constituency to vote Hon Iyimoga and other ZLP candidates in 2023 in order to better their standard of living.
Earlier, Hon Iyimoga and his entourage paid traditional homage to the District Head of Alagye, Mr Abubakar Akpaki and Mai Angwan Eggon in Alagye, Usman Kuje for their royal blessings.

It would be reported that there was a grand finale of football competition organised by Hon Ibrahim Abdullahi, Zenith Labour Party, ZLP, candidate for Awe/Doma/ Keana federal constituency where the first, second and third positions went homes with different prizes.
