Hon. Umar Tanko Tunga the Majority Leader Nasarawa State House of Assembly today Thursday make a Triumphant entry to Awe LG ahead of Saturday’s Presidential and National Assembly elections to campaign for APC Presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Umar Tanko Al-makura.
Hon. Tunga who is representing Awe North Constituency at the State Legislature met with his supporters that came out in their large numbers to give them direction on their voting patterns in Saturday’s poll.
The unprecedented crowd cutting across various tribes of Jikun, Tiv, Hausa Fulani among others received the lawmaker who holds the traditional title of Jagaban Tunga in a grand style.
The House Leader while addressing the supporters told them to come out massively and cast their votes for APC Presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Umar Tanko Al-makura among other candidates during the Saturday’s election.
He also used the occasion and enumerated his achievements and that of Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State and the need for the people to also vote for him and the Governor in March election for consolidation.
Hon Umar Tanko Tunga who was overwhelmed with the large turn out of people thanked them for the support he has gotten from them so far and urged them to sustain the spirit thus reassured them of more democratic dividends if reelected.
Various Speakers during the campaign rally cutting across various tribes commended him for his leadership qualities and assured him that he remains their choice in march elections just as they promised to vote for candidates he is supporting.
