…As Delta Central Ward to Ward campaigns ends, Oguma blazes the trail

The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, in Delta State, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, has disclosed that the state governor and Vice Presidential Candidate of PDP, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, stood firm to ensure that rotation of power between the three Senatorial districts was not truncated or distorted.

He made the disclosure while addressing a mammoth crowd of party members and supporters at the grand finale of Ward to Ward campaigns in Olomu, Ughelli South Local Government Area, the political enclave of roads construction, giant strides of Chief John Oguma.

Oborevwori said, of a truth, governor Okowa loves Urhobo ethnic nationality, just the same way he loves all other nationalities in the state, adding that if not for the political willpower of the governor, the governorship ticket would have eluded Delta Central Senatorial District.

He said Okowa has done well for Delta Central by constructing and rehabilitating roads, built schools, gave political appointments like never before and many more dividends of democracy; which is why the good people of Delta Central and Urhobo nation must of a necessity appreciate the governor by voting Atiku-Okowa for President, Sheriff-Onyeme for Governor, Chief Ighoyota Amori for Senate and other candidates of the party in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

Oborevwori, assured the people that his M.O.R.E agenda will consolidate on the inestimable achievements of Okowa administration by advancing Delta through meaningful development, opportunity for all Deltans, realistic reforms and enhanced peace and security.

He said economic growth, infrastructure development, human capacity building and social harmony shall be given priority attention when he assumes office on May 29, 2023.

“The truth of the matter is that our amiable governor and leader, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, stood firm to ensured that power rotation in Delta State is sustained beyond his tenure.

“He alignment with the rotation of power principle for Delta Central Senatorial District to get the governorship slot. He loves Urhobo nation,just the same way he loves all ethnic nationalities in the state. If not for the visionary leadership and unwavering political willpower of our governor, the governorship slot would have eluded Delta Central.

“To whom much is given , much is expected. It’s payback time for PDP and Okowa. The best way to demonstrate our collective appreciation is to vote Atiku-Okowa for President, Sheriff-Onyeme for Governor and other candidates of the party.

“Okowa as Vice President of the Federal Republic Of Nigeria, means so much to Delta, because with him at the federal and me (Oborevwori) as governor, development shall be massive and appointments at both federal and state levels will surely abound.

“What I saw in Ughelli South a d throughout Delta Central campaigns is simply marvelous and the grand finale here in Olomu is like a mega rally. It shows that PDP is Delta State and Delta State is PDP.

“Many thanks to our capacity leader of Ughelli South PDP, Chief John Oguma for the well organized grand finale, senators, federal lawmakers, House of Assembly members, council chairmen, councillors, party officials, traditional chiefs, men, women and youth of our great party and supporters,” Oborevwori added.

State Party Chairman, Okakuro Barr Kingsley Esiso, said the All Progressives Congress, APC, must be sent parking from Aso Rock in 2023, for imposing acute insecurity, poverty and hardship on Nigerians, noting that the huge success of the Ward to Ward campaigns in Delta Central Senatorial District and across the state, attests to the fact that there is no APC in Delta State.

He enjoined party members and supporters to mobilize extensively for the landslide victory of PDP and her candidates on a 5/5 basis across board.

National Leader of Ughelli South PDP, Chief John Oguma, told the governorship candidate and the Mammoth crowd that the LGA is well secured for PDP in terms of voting population, adding that the party and candidates shall win overwhelmingly with ease during next year general elections.

Chief Oguma later entertained the campaign team at his private villa in Olomu. Delta Central PDP Ward to Ward campaigns was indeed a mega success.
