A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and former house assembly member that represented Toto/Gadabuke state constituency, Hon Madaki Adagoje, said re-electing the incumbent speaker of the state house of assembly, Alhaji Ibrahim Balarabe, and the state governor, Eng Abdullahi Sule, during the forthcoming 2023 general election is a task that every citizen of entire Toto local government area must accomplish.
Hon Ada-Goje, said both the speaker and governor Sule deserve accolades due to their numerous contributions across the entire Toto local government area of the state.
He said the speaker has been able to intensify efforts towards addressing insecurity, industrialization, women, and youth empowerment through synergy with the APC-led administration of Engineer Abdullahi Sule.
The former PDP lawmaker, stated this while addressing newsmen at a reception organized by APC stalwarts and stakeholders to receive the speaker, Alhaji Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, who just returned from Saudi Arabia, in his Umaisha country home on Tuesday.
He said supporting the third-time ambition of the speaker, Alhaji Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, and the state governor, Abdullahi Sule, in the 2023 general election is a task that he and his supporters and loyalists must accomplish while urging other APC stakeholders and party stalwarts in Toto and Umaisha to do same.
He, however, stated that the mammoth crowd amidst large convoys, which received the speaker down to his Umaisha country home was a result of his inclusive, quality, and purposeful representation, which he said he has been exhibiting over the years.
“The truth is that even the blind know very well that the speaker, Alhaji Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi deserves all the accolades for his contribution to the yearning and aspirations of the good people of the entire Toto local government area,” he said.
He said he was impressed with the large turned out of APC members, supporters, party chieftains, and stakeholders across Toto local government for showing love and loyalty to the speaker.
He also commended thousands of PDP members who decamped to the ruling APC in the area, saying the defection was a clear indication that APC is fully on the ground and is a party to beat come in 2023 general election across the local government.
Ada -Goje, therefore, urged the people of Toto local government not to make make the mistake of voting vote PDP during the forthcoming general election, saying doing will take the people back to the 16 wasted years of PDP administration.
