If you know Engr Karimi, you will realize that despite his remarkable personal accomplishments, he retains his kindness and humility. But something happened some time ago. The modest Hon Sunday Karimi was compelled to blow his trumpet. The former two term member of the Green Chamber made an audacious claim about his legislative footprints on the soil of every ward in Yagba while he was representing us at the House.Oshaloto Tade is a former Senior Special Assistant to the Executive Governor of Kogi State on Security Matters in Charge of Yagba West Local Government Area and Hon Sunday Karimi, Kogi West Senatorial Candidate of APC for 2023 elelction
Yagba is such a vast Constituency, so I was simply dazed when the claim was corroborated.
Political commentators both within our party and those in the opposition attest to his wide reach. This is a remarkable testimony that I feel particularly proud about. It shows that we are on course in APC as a political party that owes itself the duty of putting its best foot forward.
Kogi West has been privileged to have a succession of quality hands representing her at the Red Chamber – each with their peculiar strengths. Our contributions to the Nigerian Senate have been world-class. I am hopeful that Hon Karimi, given his verifiable antecedents, will also have a sterling outing and work hard to outperform his predecessors.
I should also add – and this is imperative for young people for whom the groundwork of leadership is being laid, that upon my nomination by His Excellency Dr Yahaya Bello as Chief Security Officer for Yagba West in March of 2020, that Hon Karimi was one of the very first set of leaders to call and interface with me, offering invaluable support to my administration. I would call him at odd hours for counsel and support. He never complained. Karimi is a father.
This is your sure plug. Your sure senatorial plug.
