2023: Toto LG Chairman, APC Stakeholders harp on unity ahead of 2023 election
The Executive Chairman of Toto local government area of of Nasarawa State, Honourable Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas, has appealed to members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the area to sacrifice personal interests and unite for the party to retain its power in 2023 election.
Speaking during a stakeholders meeting with executive of the local government chapter of the APC, at the LG party secretariat in Toto, Toto LG, Tashas who canvassed support for all the party candidates ranging from Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, member representing Umaisha/Ugya constituency, Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi and member representing Toto/Gadabuke constituency, Hon. Usman Labaran Shafa.

The party leaders and stakeholders at the meeting, drawn from the three districts of Toto LG, who aligned with the chairman’s position include Vice Chairman of the council, Hon. Abubakar Haruna Kwanakis, Toto LG APC chairman, Alhaji Shuaibu Ahmed alias Kutuka, all the 6 Supervisory councilors, LG Women leader, and all APC ward chairmen amongst others.
Hon. Tashas appealed to party members to desist from attacking fellow party members in the name of factional wrangling and charged them on the need to reposition the party for victory in 2023 election.
“Toto LG has the highest appointment in this present administration, we need to work hard to justify the confidence repose on our people. We must focus on rebuilding the party and to maintained our winning steam.”
Earlier, Toto LG APC Chairman, Alhaji Shuaibu Ahmed alias Katuka praised Hon. Tashas for his sincere commitment towards addressing the party in time of need, noting that his leadership has brought sanity with uncommon leadership style.
He said with calibre of people APC Toto LG has, the party will record success in 2023 election.

“With various achievements recorded the party will have no problem in 2023 and urged party members to work in synergy with members of the public.
On his part, Supervisory councilor for works Toto LG, Hon. Danlami Usman Dantsoho (Garkuwa) thanked the LG Chairman for always being there for his people, assuring his of their continued support and loyalty.
Garkuwa who is the Director General for 2023 election in the area promised to rally round to bring more people to the fold of ruling APC in Toto LG.
