2023: Wike won’t step down for any body, Claims victory is certain.

Rivers State governor, Nyison Wike, has vowed not to step down to anybody outside the southern part of the country in the 2023 election either at primaries or general elections.

Addressing delegates and party executives at the Suitorial Hotel in Lokoja-on Wednesday, the Presidential Aspirant, expressed confidence in his victory at the primaries given the assurances given to him by the elected delegates from across the states.

The Rivers Governor said it has become imperative for him to vie for the presidency due to the incessant insecurity, banditry, hunger, and terrorism that have bedeviled the nation, promising to have a solution.

He said, ” Even in Katsina the people are disenchanted and are looking up to the government to save them despite their Son being the Security officer of the country”.

The Governor of Rivers, who insisted on zoning leadership of the country to other parts of the country, said he is ready and running for the Presidency and any machination to the contrary may be suspicious and capable of deeper distrust.

” Only Wike can bail Nigeria out of the present economic and social quagmire created by selfish leaders who see Nigeria as their estate “.A Kogi state supporter of Wike observed.

Governor Wike maintained that the PDP and himself are fully prepared to oust the ruling APC and its government from power to bring in a new social order that will give a new lease of life and confidence.

He advised other aspirants to Target lobbying delegates, while party members should provide reasonable advice.
