2023: Women must be carried along to ensure PDP’s victory in FCT – Says Senator Aduda’s wife

Wife of the senate minority leader, Senator Phillip Aduda representing the FCT, Princess Hauwa Philip Aduda, has canvassed for participation of women in order to ensure victory of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, FCT senator, Philip Aduda and the two houses of the representatives for AMAC /Bwari and Abuja south constituency.

Princess Aduda, spoke at Apo town hall in Abuja Municial Area Council (AMAC) on Wednesday, during the inauguration of 1,166 local governments campaign committee in the area on Wednesday.

She said the PDP must ensure that every women who are members and supporters of the party were given a role to play in order for them to embark on campaign across the FCT.

She said women have the highest voting of 80 percent of during any elections in the country, saying there was need for women to be given special priority.

She, therefore, said arrangements would soon be put in place where she will lead the all the women in the FCT in order embark on campaign across the six area councils for election of the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, Senator Phillip Aduda and two houses of the representatives.

Also speaking, the PDP campaign director general of Atiku Abubakar in the FCT, Ezikel Musa Dalhatu, said it was rediculous that some politicians were going about boasting that they control the block votes in AMAC.

He said the case of AMAC, which has highest political wards and voting strength is peculiar with other state in the country, saying PDP will win the next year’s presidential and national assembly elections.

He, however, regretted that people of the FCT no longer have sensitive positions under the present APC led government, while urging people of AMAC to come out enmass to vote for Atiku Abubakar, Senator Aduda and the two houses of representatives during the February, 25, election.

“Besides, AMAC is our strength and I am confident we shall deliver PDP for our presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, Senator Phillip Aduda and the our two houses of representatives e members come February, 25, 2023,” he said.

The state FCT chairman PDP chairman, Sunday Zaka, while inaugurating the 1,166 local government campaign committee, urged them to sit up and embark on vigorous campaign for the victory of all the party’s candidates come in 2023.
