More groups have continued to show open love and solidarity to Alhaji Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, the crown political leader of Toto local government area of Nasarawa State, Shege electoral wards was among those who have shown such unprecedented affection to a man whom they referred as God’s sent.
Stakeholders of the governing All Progressives Congress, APC, from Shege electoral ward of Umaisha Development Area, Toto Local Government Area of the State on Wednesday threw weight behind Nasarawa State house of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi to continue representing them following his numerous positive interventions.
The group numbering over 500 persons comprising young, elders, and women stormed the Umaisha country home of the Speaker to reaffirm their undiluted support and exceedingly thanked him for the purposeful leadership he has been rendering over the years.
The leader of the group Alhaji Yakubu Ibrahim alias Commander says they were convinced beyond a reasonable doubt, that Nasarawa Speaker is indeed an asset to reckon with as far as Umaisha/Ugya constituency is concerned.
“We are here in Umaisha Development Area to formally welcome you home from your foreign trip to holy land Mecca, after a successful Hajj operation as leader of Nasarawa State pilgrimage.”
The group leader noted that the Speaker has appointed some of their youths as his aides and provided jobs for some graduates across Ministries, parastatals, and within and outside the shores of Nasarawa State.
“Mr. Speaker you have performed beyond our expectations, we are proud of you and we are here to affirm our unflinching support to your leadership. Your humility is second to none.” The Commander stated.
Responding, the Speaker Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi in his remark appreciated the people of the Shege electoral ward for their understanding and
believing in his leadership and vision of the All Progressives Congress, APC, under the incumbent Governor of Nasarawa State, Alhaji Abdullahi Sule, whose leadership center on the development and empowerment of his people at the grassroots level.
Alhaji Balarabe Abdullahi who is seeking re-election to represent the people of the Yagya/Umaisha state constituency in the 2023 election reminded the people of Shege that Engineer Abdullahi Sule has ordered a rehabilitation of the Toto-Ugya road with asphalt laying.
He, however, said the governor has reiterated his administration’s commitment to reviving socio-economic activities and creating jobs for teeming youths through the construction of Ultra Modern Market in Toto town, a development the Speaker said will commence soon.
He, therefore, charged the people of Shege to embark on Permanent Voters Card collection, saying it’s going to be the only weapon to be used in electing leaders.
Also speaking, a one-time lawmaker who represented the Umaisha/Ugya state constituency and a chieftain of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Toto local government, Hon. Yusuf Omaaki urged the group not to relent in their support for Nasarawa Speaker, Engineer Sule, and all APC candidates for slated 2023 elections.
He thanked them for identifying with the political leader of Toto LG, even as he enjoined them to be steadfast in their direction and as well encouraged them to maintain peaceful coexistence in their domains.
