Kogi NYCN seeks partnership with HYPADEC towards youths engagement
….Meets Kogi Assembly Deputy Speaker, other stakeholders.

As part of effort to consolidate on the transformational agenda of the new direction administration, the delegation of the Kogi State chapter of National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, under the purposeful and pragmatic Chairman, Hon. (Comrade) Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale has paid a courtesy call on the some critical stakeholders in the State.
Comr. Benjamin Ojodale said the youth council is extension of the government, adding that visitation to some organizations and agencies in the State was part of effort to have a smooth running administration.
On Tuesday, The Kogi National Youth Council Chairman, Comr. Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale led some of his executive members to office of the Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission, (HYPADEC) in Lokoja, Kogi State to seek for partnership in area of job creation and employment for teeming youth in the State.
The delegation was received by Kogi State Coordinator HYPADEC, Engineer (Mrs) Juan Oguche at the State office behind State Ministry of Education Lokoja.
He said giving the youth support will reduce crimes and give them a positive direction.
According to him, the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello has done so much in that direction, urging agencies and organizations to emulate the leadership style of the Governor.
On her part, Coordinator of HYPADEC, Mrs Juan Oguche said the Youth Transformation Programme is part of the overall efforts of the Commission to provide developmental projects and empowerment to the riverine communities across the HYPADEC member States.
Mrs Oguche disclosed that thousands of youths from some states including Kogi have benefited from the training in the member States.
She said their office is wide open to assist the youth community and State at large.
Similarly, the NYCN delegation equally visited the Deputy Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Comfort Egwaba at her resident in Lokoja.
Comr. Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale, the Chairman of the council said the Governor of Kogi State has contributed immensely by preparing ground for the incoming administration to build.
According to him, the security of lives and properties is paramount, hence to support the Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello to succeed.
He said the youths are better equipped and mentored under the 8 years administration of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello, noting that they can now compete anywhere they found themselves either in Kogi, Nigeria or in diaspora.
