AFCON 2024: Nigerian striker Brown Ideye reveals what will happen to Super Eagle in Cote D’Ivoire
A 35-year old Nigerian striker, Brown Ideye has predicted strongly what would happened to the Super Eagles in the ongoing 2024 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.
He said Nigeria has players but lack team to coordinate and push for the team that lead to resounding victory.
“We have good players in camp, but we don’t have a team. We are still building a team because we don’t have a team that can win the AFCON,” Ideye remarked.
The 28-cap Nigerian International added “I don’t see this present Eagles winning this AFCON; it’s not possible. We are not ready; we don’t have what it takes.”
“They should all gather in the room of Ahmed Musa and discuss with him and Kenneth Omeruo. They need Musa and Omeruo to tell them how we conquered Africa in 2013.
“The discipline, the sacrifices, and how we fought and tasked ourselves when everyone had given up. “
