Kogi Poly Rector felicitates with newly appointed monarchs in Kogi.

IDRIS AHMED, Lokoja. 

The Rector Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Dr. Salisu Ogbo Usman, has congratulated the new traditional rulers recently appointed by the Kogi state Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello.

In the congratulatory message he personally signed, Dr Usman, while felicitating with the Monarchs on their ascension to the thrones of their forebearers, wish them peaceful and successful reign.

“On behalf of the Governing Council, Academic Board, Management, staff and students of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, I heartily felicitate with the new Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, Alhaji Ahmed Tijani Anaje, the Ohimegye-Igu of Koton-Karfe, Alhaji Saidu Akawu Salihu (SAS).

Other Royal Majesty so congratulated include, the Maigari of Lokoja, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir, on their ascension to the thrones of their forebears

” Your Royal Majesties, your respective appointments are well deserved, considering your wide acceptability and vast experiences in the cultures and traditions of your people” , the Rector stated

Dr Usman told the Traditional rulers that the new level of leadership, no doubt, comes with special responsibilities that requires renewed dedication, resilience, informed judgment and patience.

He expressed confidence in their capability ability to deliver their mandates and responsibilities with the utmost fear of God and in the best interest of the peace and advancement of their various domains.

“I pray Allah will guard and guide you in your new responsibilities and may your reigns further enthrone peace, cohesion and oneness in Kogi State.
