Kogi: I won’t disappoint you – John Nihi thanks Gov Ododo for appointing him as CPS
….Says Former Gov Bello has raised the bar of development for new administration to build on.
The newly appointed Chief Press Secretary, CPS, to the Governor of Kogi State, Comrade Oladele John Nihi have vowed never to disappoint the Executive Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, All Progressives Congress and youth community.
Nihi thanked the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for finding him worthy to be part of his administration, assuring that he will used his good office to propagate programs and policies of the government.
Global Times Nigeria investigation revealed John Nihi was a former Senior Special Assistant, SSA, to immediate past Governor of Kogi on Communication, the office held and attracted young people to the administration of Ex-Governor Bello.
The new CPS dropped the hint in his acceptance speech to his new principal and Governor of Kogi State, Ahmed Usman Ododo on Sunday morning, were he equally appreciated the youth community, All progressives Congress, APC, and his supporters for the support, prayers and solidarity.

BEING ACCEPTANCE SPEECH BY OLADELE JOHN NIHI, AS CHIEF PRESS SECRETARY TO THE EXECUTIVE GOVERNOR OF KOGI STATE
With profound gratitude and genuine humility, I extend my heartfelt appreciation for the esteemed honor of assuming the role of Chief Press Secretary to His Excellency, Alh Ododo Ahmed Usman, the Executive Governor of Kogi State. In this significant capacity, my unwavering commitment lies in fostering communication marked by authenticity, transparency, and a keen understanding of the pulse of our vibrant state.
“I confidently assure that the Ododo-led administration is resolute in mending fractures in our collective unity, addressing even the minutest nuances that affect our sense of oneness. Be assured that the public will be kept well-informed, concerns promptly attended to, and the commendable strides of our government adequately showcased. Embarking on this journey, my dedication is not just to promises, but to tangible actions anchored in effective communication that mirrors the realities and aspirations of our diverse citizenry.”
As the Youngest Chief Press Secretary in the history of Kogi State, My gratitude would be incomplete without extending it to the immediate past Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Yahaya Adoza Bello, for building laudable legacies upon which the present government seeks to consolidate, particularly in respect to youth inclusion in governance. A legacy I am a beneficiary of.
Thank you once more to Governor Ododo for entrusting me with this enormous responsibility. Together, we shall navigate the path towards a future where Kogi State stands as a beacon of prosperity, unity and renewed hope.
