AFCON: Ex-minister, Ogah charges Super Eagles to Replicate same energy in final match

The Ex-Minister of State, Mines and Steel Development, Dr Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, has applauded the players of the Super Eagles of Nigeria on their resounding victory against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in a thrilling semi-final encounter in Ivory Coast.
Our correspondent reports that the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Wednesday, defeated the Bafana Bafana of South Africa to 4:2 via penalty shootout to book a place in the final against Ivory Coast on Sunday.
Ogah, who doubled as the President of Masters Energy Group, while applauding the super eagle football players, charged them to replicate same energy against the host country, Ivory Coast.
He noted that the victory of the super eagle players against Bafana Bafana of south Africa is a morale-booster and also charged the team to sustain the momentum and return home with the prestigious trophy.
According to him, “The victory of the super eagle of Nigeria over Bafana Bafana of South Africa is one that redeems not only Nigeria’s football strength, but also our image within the continent of Africa and beyond.
The former minister who also noted that football remains a unifying factor that binds everyone, regardless of ethnicity and religion, admonishing the Nigerian team players to maintain the tempo.
Ogah expressed optimism that Nigeria will emerge victorious in the final African Cup of Nation game against Ivory Coast.
