During a world press conference held on Tuesday, the 30th of April, 2024, at the Nassarawa State capital, the group’s spokesperson, Bar. Blessing, passionately addressed the media, denouncing the EFCC’s raid on Alhaji Yahaya Bello’s residence in Abuja.

Urging President Tinubu to rein in the EFCC, Barr. Blessing emphasized the importance of upholding the rule of law and preventing any potential national embarrassment stemming from the ongoing saga.

In addition to the press conference, The North Central Progressive Voice penned an open letter to President Tinubu, appealing for his swift intervention in the matter.

The group highlighted the urgency of the situation, emphasizing the need for a resolution to prevent further escalation.

Taking proactive steps to ensure their message reaches the highest echelons of power, representatives of the group delivered the open letter to the Emir of Lafia and Chairman of the Nassarawa State Council of Chiefs, His Royal Highness Hon. Justice Sidi Bage 1. JSC (Rtd.), with the intention of forwarding it to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Undeterred by the challenges ahead, the group embarked on a solidarity walk through the major streets of Lafia, Nassarawa State, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to their cause.
