Minister of Water resources, Sanitation, Prof Utsev in Bali, Indonesia attending to 10th world water forum

Global Times Nigeria has obtained a report that the Indonesia nation will be hosting the 10th World Water Forum in Bali, beginning from 18-25 May 2024. The global forum will also discuss fair and equitable global water management as one of the important issues.

It is an opportunity for countries to share experiences, innovations, and solutions in water resources management and conservation, especially the impacts of climate change that are increasingly evident.

The forum, themed “Water for Shared Prosperity,” consists of three main processes: political process, regional process, and thematic process involving all relevant stakeholders.

The thematic process comprises six sub-themes to be collectively discussed to find global solutions, which include water security and prosperity, water for humans and nature, disaster risk reduction and management, governance, cooperation and hydro-diplomacy, sustainable water finance, and knowledge and innovation.

The Nigeria’s Honourable Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation, Engr Professor Joseph Terlumun Utsev has arrived in Bali, Indonesia for the 10th World Water Forum.

In a statement issued by Terhemen Oraduen, Personal Assistant on Media and Publicity to the Honourable Minister of water resources and Sanitation.

The World Water Forum is the largest international gathering in the water sector involving critical stakeholders in the water sector.

 

Engr. Prof. Joseph Terlumun Utsev alongside other stakeholders in the water sector around the world including Heads of State and Government,Heads of international organisations will be sharing their knowledge and practicals on a wide range of topics related to water .
