Appointment: Balarabe won’t disappoint Tinubu, Nigerians – Toto LG Chair, Tashas
Stakeholders in Nasarawa State particularly those of the All Progressives Congress, APC, are celebrating the recent appointment of the former Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, who is to chair the governing council of Federal Polytechnic Damaturu, Yobe.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in a statement on Friday announced former speaker Balarabe and other Nigerians into the governing council.
Balarabe, a former speaker who represented the good people of the Umaisha/Ugya state constituency from the Toto local government area of Nasarawa State is being rewarded for the tremendous achievement, commitment, and support he has rendered while serving as a lawmaker.
The former Speaker who many described as a true Emancipator of the people is always prepared for any task given to him.
In a lead congratulatory message, the executive chairman of Toto Local Government Council, Mr. Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas, thanked Almighty Allah for vindicating the former Speaker and providing him with another opportunity to serve at the national level.
Hon Tashas said the former Speaker is a great man sent by God to change the narrative. He said he would do well again and wished him well in his new office.
A statement from the Toto LGC Secretariat issued by Yahaya Idris Toto, The Senior Special Assistant, SSA, Media & Publicity, said the Toto LG political leader won’t disappoint President Bola Tinubu.
According to him, God has placed Rt. Hon Balarabe is in a better position to continue with his good job he started some decade ago.

The council chairman who described Rt. Hon Balarabe as personal friend whom God has used to attract meaningful development to his host LG.
Hon Tashas also noted that the institution will witnessed massive transformation under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu led administration.
While thanking the President, the chairman said the appointee will not disappoint him neither Nigerians.
He therefore, charge the people of Toto LGA to unite and support their own in order to benefit from FG numerous programs and interventions.
Alhaji Balarabe who is the Walin Opanda Kingdom, in Toto LGA was elected into the Nasarawa State House of Assembly from 2015 – 2023 and became a speaker 3 times before the appeal court truncated his mandate.
He is widely known as a man of faith, principled and who has a mind of his own.
