…Says Tinubu, Sule and other leaders needs support, prayer to deliver their mandates

Barely one year after the 2023 general elections and inaugurations of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, the Immediate Past Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, has advised politicians nursing the 2027 race to exercise more patient as there is still time to do so, saying those in power need more time to focus on governance and representations.

The former Speaker said the time is not ripe for 2027 race, however asked the aspirants to pray, support and allow elected representatives to focus and deliver on their mandates.

This, Balarabe Abdullahi said when the time comes, Government will give them direction of where to go by and stakeholders will give their advice where necessary.

The Former Speaker of Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi stated this when the former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of National Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Dr. Faisal Shuaib paid him a sallah homage in his residence in Umaisha, Toto LG.

Balarabe Abdullahi, who appreciated Dr Faisal for the visit said peace, unity and development of Toto LG and the State should remain their priority.

“First, let me thank God Almighty for the gift of life and for us to witness yet another sallah festival, I also thank you sincerely for finding time to identify with me, may God bless you

” Secondly, to me the time is not ripe yet for 2027, we still have three years to go by, One year only has just gone, may God give us long life and sound health to witness 2027

“For me, like every other civilians with democratic right, I stand with the government for the benefit of my people and when the time comes, I believe government will give us directions, stakeholders will advise accordingly and that is where we will belong and that will be the way to go for me and my people

“I have earlier told my people at the palace that this is not time for politics, I am not supporting any political aspirants for now, all we are doing is assessing our representatives to see their developmental efforts in our area, what they are bringing to the table for our people

“My people remain my priority, they have done a lot for me, they have show me absolute love, they have elected me for three consecutive times to the state assembly where I became Speaker for the three consecutive times, before God said that era is off, so what else did I want apart from appreciate God and keep standing for my people in honesty

“Leadership comes from God and he has designed the beginning to the end of the destiny of every one and no one have right or power to stop anyone’s destiny

” And my brotherly advise is that operate with caution and be prayerful so that God will guide you and beware of bad eggs among you because some of our people are not what they claimed to be or what you think they are, that is the fact” Balarabe added.

He called on all to be patience with the current hardship in the land which he described as a test from God and continue to have faith with the government as there will going to be light at the end of the day urging support and prayers for President Tinubu, Gov. Sule and other leaders to succeed.

Earlier, Dr Faisal Shuaib said he has come to identify with the former Speaker at sallah period as a political leader in the area and appreciated him for the good work he is doing for his people.

“Ohimegye has said a lot of good things about you, your peace, unity and developmental efforts in our land, we appreciate you for that and urge you to sustain the leadership spirit. God Almighty will continue to bless you

” Let continue to work together for peace, unity and prosperity of our land” Dr Faisal added.

The former Speaker Balarabe is known to have a total control of the party’s structure at the grassroots and he’s not pushover politician with a strong mind of his own.
