Edo Guber race: Ighodalo/Ogie Campaign team to hold solidarity rally in Diaspora

Edo State gubernatorial candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Barr Asue Ighodalo and his running mate Barr Osarodian Ogie are set to carry their campaign to Europe after running several communities visits in Edo state that turned into mini rallies and saw massive defections into the party.
According to report in the truth live gathered that, the former chairman Sterling bank said, “ Owing to my love for Edolites in the diaspora and in recognition of their significant contributions to the development of our dear state, my running mate, Barr. Osarodion Ogie and I are excited to announce that we will be taking our conversation on the future of Edo State to Europe
We call on all Edolites in UK and all the designated cities in Europe to join us as we discuss the roadmap for a better Edo.”
Many have called the visit to diaspora strategic and timely because of the large number of Edolites in Europe who have a strong influence over the voter apathy and voting pattern in Edo state.

Their support in the 2023 election for Peter Obi led to his victory in Edo state and also got his party a senatorial seat.

Edolites in Diaspora and at home are eager to see how well Ighodalo impresses Edo in Diaspora.
While speaking of the planned visit of the PDP candidate, the lead spokesman of Team Asue Media Organisation (TAMO), Deacon Darlington Okpebholo Ray confirmed that all is set for meetings in these selected cities as Edo sons and daughters in Europe are waiting anxiously for their well loved candidate Dr Asue Ighodalo.
He said: “all is set to receive my Principal Dr Ighodalo in the UK and Europe, as you know, our people are everywhere around the world, particularly the UK and other parts of Europe like Italy, Germany, Spain, etc, but he will be visiting the UK, Italy and Germany , but I can confirm to you that Edo people in other countries within Europe will be coming from countries like Belgium, Spain, the Netherlands, France etc to see and listen to our candidate speak to them on how he intends to turn Edo state around when elected and he will be talking questions too.
So London is fully ready as well as the other cities where he will be speaking to his people of Edo state”
