The lawmaker who was represented at the distribution center in Lokoja on Sunday by the Chairman, Lokoja Local Government Council, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu, said farmers should be encouraged in view of the significance of agriculture to humanity and economic development.

“I am calling on everyone who has the resources, to bridge the gap, come together and work in unity to benefit the ordinary man. The price of fertilizer is exorbitant for farmers, so this is my support to them in order to ensure food sufficiency in the state.

“I also want to urge all residents of the Constituency to continue to live in peace with one another so that our farmers will not face any form of challenges as they carry out their farming activities.”
