Edo voters, residents told to Avoid Repeating Buhari Tragedy, Reject Akpakomiza for Edo’s Prosperity

By Saintmoses Eromosele

The experience of Muhammadu Buhari’s presidency offers valuable bitter lessons for Edo State as it approaches a critical election. Buhari’s tenure was marked by economic disaster we are still grappling with, poor governance as never before seen, and unmet promises. Similarly, voting for Akpakomiza could plunge Edo State into a comparable disaster – God forbid!

Key Similarities Between Buhari and Akpakomiza:

1. Inadequate Communication: Buhari avoided debates and public engagements, raising concerns about transparency. Akpakomiza exhibits similar reluctance, signaling a lack of accountability. He even meets with his own aides with lights off to avoid possibility of filming him. Why is he hiding from his own people? Signs of disaster in hiding.

2. Questionable Qualifications: Buhari’s educational background was dubious. He even presented NEPA bill as good enough to cajole people who asked about his education. Akpakomiza’s credentials are equally suspect, with very poor grades in his school certificate, casting doubt on his preparedness for leadership.

3. Economic Mismanagement: Buhari’s presidency led to severe economic hardship. Akpakomiza’s vague and unconvincing economic policies suggest a similar fate for Edo State. God forbid!

4. Failure to Combat Corruption: Despite promises, Buhari failed to address corruption. Akpakomiza has shown no commitment to tackling this critical issue. He has made only one promise so far – that is to give Edo State budget to leaders to share for doing nothing to make them happy and stop crying in their bedrooms, according to him.

The Danger of Voting Akpakomiza or Splitting Votes:

Voting for Akpakomiza:
This is a vote for economic and social disaster, akin to Buhari’s presidency.

Voting for Olu D of Labour: With no realistic chance of winning, this indirectly supports Akpakomiza, leading to the same disastrous outcome.

The Path to Prosperity is Dr. Asue Ighodalo. Dr. Asue Ighodalo stands as the candidate who can bring stability and prosperity to Edo State. His commitment to economic growth, social development, and transparent governance offers a clear contrast to the risks posed by Akpakomiza.

Edo people, do not repeat the mistake of Buhari in the coming election. Reject Akpakomiza by all means possible and avoid splitting votes by wasting that your precious vote on someone who cannot win. Vote for Dr. Asue Ighodalo, the promise of prosperity for all. Vote for Asue of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and thank me later.
