The Honorable Member Representing Ankpa 1 State Constituency at Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon Akus Lawal has received an award of excellence from Glory Land Polytechnic Ankpa.
The proprietress of the school, Hajiya Vivian Idama, presented the award during the Cultural Day celebration held in the school recently.
Hajiya Idama said the presentation of the award was to acknowledge the overwhelming contributions of Hon. Akus to the development of education in Ankpa local government through his Educational Foundation Initiative.

She showered encomiums on the vibrant lawmaker for awarding scholarships to Ankpa students – a legacy she described as unprecedented and would remain evergreen in the memories of the people of the local government.
