As the Edo gubernatorial election’s gain momentum, Hon Bright Iyamu, member representing Orhionmwon South Constituency, has taken the campaign for the Aseu Ighodalo and Osarodion Ogie ticket to Ugo Community Unit 6 and 32 in Orhionmwon LGA.
The campaign team were received with chanting of “AiO², Vote AiO², Vote PDP”, PDP “Aseu for Governor ” ,Ogie for Deputy ” Orhionmwon 100% for PDP “and different melodious songs fills the air, amidst dancing and jubilation by the supporters.
He said ” Iyamu One year plus has been impactful to all and sundry, we all must vote for PDP. Orhionmwon is 100% PDP and with the support of you all we shall be victorious.
The Labour Party youth leader of Ibieguae in Ugo community, Festus Aghimien and his followers and Uwadia Vincent of All Progressive Party APC who were amongst the defectors told the honourable member that PDP will better their lot.
The lawmaker welcome the defectors to PDP and said before the September 21 election, he would ensure all ongoing project in Ugo community are completed and also ensure that their needs are adequately taken off.
Iyamu said “Ugo is very important in all electioneering process and when there are any project or benefit, Ugo community will benefit optimally.”
“Everyone will be adequately taken care of if PDP wins, continuity and development will continue. PDP benefits will get to every member of the Ugboko ward”.
At his home town Iguododo, the jubilating supporters who came out in their large number to welcome the lawmaker with gladness rendered different melodious songs, dancing with excitement.
The leaders of Iguododo PDP, Pa Sunday Aruabon led other members to the country home of the Iguododo born lawmaker to registered their affirmative support for the PDP ticket of AiO².
Pa Sunday Aruabon said “we are all excited and we would all vote for PDP in the forthcoming election. We appreciate our son for all the completed projects and the ongoing project at Iguododo.
Hon Bright Iyamu encourage everyone to come out en-masse on the 21 September to vote for PDP.
